Some people may be familiar with last year's Summer Nighttastic promotion at Disneyland. It featured some new floats in the Main Street Electrical Parade, a new light show at the pond near the Pixie Hollow meet and greet, a new fireworks show called "Magical," and a brand new, spectacular dragon for the finale of the popular Fantasmic show. Walt Disney World announced today that they'll be running a Summer Nighttastic promotion this summer. The Main Street Electrical Parade, which originated at Disneyland, and later got cloned for the Magic Kingdom, will return to the Magic Kingdom for this summer. It is believed that the parade will be the same one used last year in Disney's California Adventure. The Magic Kingdom will also get a brand new nighttime fireworks show. We don't know the details about it yet, nor do we know if it will replace the long running Wishes for just the summer, or beyond that time. The Tower of Terror in Disney's Hollywood Studios will also get some special lighting, visual, and sound effects for the Summer Nighttastic. However, that park's version of Fantasmic will not be getting the spectacular new dragon as of this writing. Summer Nighttastic at Walt Disney World

I'm a little confused. What does it mean the electrical parade will return to the Magical Kingdom? I've seen it there twice, once within the last year.

I think you're talking about SpectroMagic. It's a similar concept to the Main Street Electrical Parade, but with different floats and different music.

I can see how you could confuse the two. The idea is similar, but the music and floats are different. Did the parade you saw last year at Walt Disney World feature a segment featuring Ariel and another with the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty?
