Disney will be putting out a series of Hayao Miyazaki movies out on DVD March 2nd, 2010. Some of these titles include Castle in the Sky, Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service, and my My Neighbor Totoro.

I love Ponyo and Castle in the Sky! I haven't seen the other two but knowing Miyazaki's material, they're probably superb. One of the finest Animation Studios of All-Time! I think Disney Animation (Not Pixar) should take creative writing classes from these wonderful filmakers. Show them what originality, inspiration and magical simplicity are all about. They need a refreshing course.

Sounds good to me. Is this the first time any of these are being released on DVD? I think they have been released on DVD before. I have about 3 of his movies on DVD right now. I'm kind of excited to see if there will be any special features on these movies as they are all considered to be Special Edition DVD releases. |

I've seen a few of his movies. I want to see Ponyo; that movie looks pretty cool.

Sounds good to me. Is this the first time any of these are being released on DVD? It's the first time for Ponyo; the others listed have had DVD releases before. I've never seen My Neighbor Totoro. I meant to grab it the last time it was released, but I was short on money and when I had the money, I couldn't find it anymore. |

Bye bye money... I'll have to get My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo. I really really want to see Ponyo in the original Japanese. I was so close to being able to see it in Japan since I was there during its release but I was too busy to go to the movies. ;-; (Yes, I'm still pouting over that.)

I have yet to see Ponyo. I wanted to see it when it was out in Theatres but it was only out in limited release and wasn't showing at any of our theatres.  I can't wait to rent it. (Renting it to see if I like it. Will most likely really like it but I'm on a money saving kick and feel like a miser about spending money.) |

I'm so exsited! My brother introduced me to these movies. I've seen most of them. but I still havn't seem Kikis delivery service. I'm looking forward to owning Ponyo as well  |

Oh, yes! I''ve been waiting for this to happen for a long time! Ive been wanting to get Kiki's Delivery Service on DVD for years! It was one of my favorite movies when I was younger and I haven't seen it since I was a child. I hope to get it on DVD soon! I'm going to try to get the other movies as well.
