Based upon Tim Burton's short film, Burton and Disney is making it a full-length future. It's stop-motion and tells the story of a kid bringing his dog back to life.

Anyone seen the short film of this?

I'm guessing Alice in Wonderland went well if they're working together again. Was Alice in Wonderland the first film that Burton and Disney worked together for?

Burton used to work for Disney as an animator back in the 1980s. Although he developed the story behind Nightmare Before Christmas, he developed the story during work hours, so Disney retained all rights to it. Since Burton produced NBC and Disney released it, I think it's an earlier collaboration than Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
