Yet another remake Disney has decided to do... Tim Allen is said to be in this movie. Allen, the star of five previous Disney films, plays workaholic lawyer Dave Douglas, who keeps changing into a sheepdog at the most inopportune times. These occassional transformations hamper his career, but help him become a better father and husband. Kristen Davis plays Allen's wife. Also in the cast: Danny Glover plays a district attorney and Tim's boss, Spencer Breslin his son, former late night host Craig Kilborn plays a neighbor, and Robert Downey Jr. takes on the villainous role of a yuppie entrepreneur who is using dogs to develop a miracle drug that extends human life by a multiple of seven. Coming to Theaters Spring 2006

Coming to Theaters Spring 2006 i remember a movie somewhat like this where a boy finds this ring and he did something and he kept on changing in to a sheep dog. Is that the movie disney is remaking?

There are so many wrong things that I found in that whole plot. I mean, that all sounds crazy!! And where's the magic ring that turns him to a dog? Was he born with that transformation?

I thought there was already a remake in the late 80s early 90s with Kirk Cammeron in it?

Actually, that was some movie he did called "You Lucky Dog" where he shares the personalities and emotions of a dog that witnessed a murder. I don't think it was a remake to "The Shaggy Dog".

No, this time he gets bitten by the dog.

I like the look of this one, it looks like it's gonna be a whole heap of fun! And it stars the awesome Tim Allen too, so I'm pretty sure that it'll be a hoot!

I don't know about this one. Disney has done pretty good with their remakes of their old films. I liked their remake of Freaky Friday. I might just be weird though.

I'm torn here... I'm usually not a huge fan of remakes and sequels, but, (*wringing hands*) It's got Tim Allen in it and he's usually so good and... Yup, I'll probably rent it whenever it comes out on DVD

Most remakes that Disney do usually are pretty so good so let's hope that this one is no exception

I saw a quick little preview/behind the scenes type thing and it looks like it could be pretty fun!
