Does anyone love the Jungle Book as much as me? I think Bagheera is very cool!

I'm not a fan of the Jungle Book myself personally, though I do really like Sher Kahn

I haven't seen this movie in ages so my taste in movies might have changed. I didn't like it before but I would be willing to watch it again to see if my opinion has changed.

One of my favorites. And can't wait for it to be on DVD soon ^_^
Love the music, those jungle/Indian sounds and all.

I also have it on VHS, but it's still sealed, and for some odd reason I don't wanna take it out of the seal, haha.
I have the VHS box (with VHS, CD and litho's).

Shere Kahn has been and always will be the only reason I ever watch this movie again

I just watch a little more than half of this movie this weekend. It is still not on my favorites list, but I think I forgot that I still like it, even though it's not the best. Bagheera has always been my favorite and still remains my favorite. The songs aren't the best, but are still really catchy. Kaa is funny and adds a lightness to the movie. I wish I would have watched the end to remember the whole effect of the movie, but oh well. I had actually forgotten the plot of the movie until I watched it. that shows how long ago I have seen it and how much it didn't stick.

Big news fellas. A lot of you may remember me saying in the sneak preview thread of the special edition DVD for Jungle Book that I am not a huge fan of this film. Well during my absence I gave it another chance before deciding hastily to include it in my sell pile of VHSs and I have gotten a newfound love for it. I had forgotten how exciting the charactors are. And I just love Baloo's love for Mowgli.

A very happy 48th anniversary to The Jungle Book!!!!!! "Many strange legends are told of these jungles in India. But none so strange as the story of a small boy named Mowgli. It all began when the silence of the jungle was broken by an unfamiliar sound."

The new live-action version is absolutely amazing, I love it so much, way better than the original animated classic by far! ^^

I'm actually very torn! I loved the animated one as a kid but when I become an adult it was never one I went back to much except maybe the songs. I respected it for it's place as the last movie Walt Disney personally worked on though (with Aristocats being the last he greenlit I think). The live action movie completely threw me off guard I had no idea I would love it so much! I thought the integration of music was perfect!
