I was shocked to see that there wasn't a thread on this CD already... Released September 30, 2008, Nightmare Revisited is a compilation of Nightmare Before Christmas songs covered by different artists, including two re-recordings by Danny Elfman. Artists include Marilyn Manson, Flyleaf, Korn, Amy Lee, Vitamin String Quartet, Rise Against, Plain White T's, and more. I got the CD from my friend and I personally was enthralled by it. My favorite cover was done by Amy Lee of the band Evanescence. She recorded a truly riveting cover of Sally's Song. Anyone else had the opportunity to listen to it?

I have I have! haha of course It is a really well put together album. To be frank I don't think there's a bad cover on there =/ And despite not liking Marilyn Manson's music, his This Is Halloween is truly something to behold and just make the original so much more terrifying

I'm surprised that wasn't more hype about this coming out, especially since its kinda released hand in hand with special edition DVD. I think it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm going to have to go amazon shopping.

I've heard this album and most of the songs are great! Amy Lee's cover of "Sally's Song" was the best!
