I am pretty sure this thread is not already here because the last thread on this page is from last year, and this show just came out in February.
Anyway does anyone watch this new cartoon. Basically its two boys trying to make the most of their summer by causing daily mischief, and their sister who always fails to bust them.
I actually think for once Disney has managed to create something remotely watchable here. I can actually stand it, although the thing with the platypus is a silly. Not to mention they give the wrong expression of them. They certainly do stuff.
Anyway what does everyone else think?

I must confess I actually really do enjoy this show immensley! While I will admit Disney shows are no longer anywhere near their prime from back in the early 90's. However when you live in a household where VH1 and MTV are played 24/7, these programs become exeedingly refreshing. So for those who constantly say the shows airing today are nothing but crud, (including this one) I suggest you try watching the other channels I have mentioned above and get back to me on how if you're brain cells have haggerd yet! But back to the topic. I love Phineaus and Ferb because of it's comedy, original concepts, Candice's & Dr. Doofinchmirtz hissy fits, and the oh so adorable Perry the Platupus! No it's not television at it's best, but I find it quite amusing. It's such a releif to find a children's show where the siblings don't just get along, they're the best of friends! And I'm glad the creators actually encourage children to get outside and use their imagination to have a blast with it! (No I'm not suggesting they go off and try to create these far-feteched contraptions) but to simply get off the couch and make the most of the fresh air and sunshine! Oh heck, even now I'm not going to waste minutes of my summer the way i have in the past. And as for the the mad scientist vs. animal hero situation. I agree it's not nessary, but i think it's fun. I love Perry's facial expressions and Dr.Doofinchmirtz accent and panic attacks! (haha) What can i say, I enjoy a show that's meant for tweens and I'm going to be 20 years old! I'm simply guilty as charged.  |

I've watched the show when I've been really bored in the past and I have to confess that it's not all that bad. The voices suit the characters and most of them have something to offer to the series.
The only character I'm not really keen on is Perry the Platypus as that part of the series is a bit daft.
It makes a change from the constant Hannah Montana and The Suite Life repeats that are being shown on the Disney Channel over here at the moment.

I've only seen the commercials and haven't had the stomach to watch it, it reminds me too much of The Replacements but perhaps the next time its on I'll try watching it.

Yeah I like this show too! It is pretty funny in places and I love the voice cast with good, quirky animation too. Richard O'Brien's in it! ;D

The only character I'm not really keen on is Perry the Platypus as that part of the series is a bit daft. Yeah exactly what I was saying. I agree. I also am not keen on how they practically make a slogan of "Platypuses don't do much". That is certainly not true, in fact they are even venomous. |
