This is a beautiful film. As far as comedy goes, I love Tuke and Rutt, but Denahi was pretty funny too. Anybody else watch the blooper reel on the DVD? I get a kick out of some of those.
The soundtrack is just as beautiful as the film. In fact, I bought the soundtrack before I even saw the movie. I had already heard a clip of "On My Way" on the official Disney site, so I was pretty sure I would like the rest of the music. Ha! I'm actually listening to the soundtrack as I type this.

The soundtrack is just as beautiful as the film. In fact, I bought the soundtrack before I even saw the movie. I had already heard a clip of "On My Way" on the official Disney site, so I was pretty sure I would like the rest of the music. Ha! I'm actually listening to the soundtrack as I type this. agreed with every word. I couldnt wait to see this movie when the commercials were constantly showing on the Tv but not fated to release in the theater until November ahh...2004? I loved the little song clips the commercials would feature, especially on my way, and i knew this was going to be a beautiful movie with beautiful songs and i knew that i had to see it and absolutly had to get the soundtrack. The same goes for my best friend. It turned out to be lucly for me that it released in November because i got to go with my friends to see it for my b-day. My best friend ended up getting the Soundtrack not long after, and allowed me to tape a few songs, until a little while later when i got it myself, in between that time i would go the offical disney website and listen to the little Clip of Koda singing On My Way. It greatly disappionted me that Phil Colins took over Koda's little bit of the song on the soundtrack but it was easy to overlook. To comment on the movie itself, i found Koda to be one of the most adorable Disney Charactors i have ever seen. a couple years ago i bought a Koda Stuft Animal and a Koda sweatshirt at the Disney Store in an after thanksgiving Sale. I loved his energetic attitude and love of telling stories about anything practically. Plus i love how he thought that Kenai was the answer to his wish for an older brother. i myself have always thought it would be nice to have an older brother, but i am an only child. It was sweet seeing how the two began to grown on eachother and become close, up until Kenai realized that Koda's mother was the bear he had killed and had to confess to the little cub. It made me cry. (yeah yeah i am a sucker for a good tear jerker movie, just call me the blubbering whale). The Rutt and Tuke jokes were histerical, and i was delighted to learn (before seeing the film) that Rick Moranis would be voicing one of them, i adore him and his humor. I must say however i was a little disappionted in the ending when Kenai decides to remain a bear, niether myself or my best friend had expected that. we figured that he would stay a human and raise koda like a baby or something along the lines other than that i loved the beauty in the movie and the great lessons it teaches you. and the charactors are also brilliant and beautifully drawn.

After seeing Brother Bear and learning that the two moose were literally based on the Canadian McKenzie brothers played by the voice actors for Rutt and Tuke, I went and got "Strange Brew" on DVD and that movie is so stupid, it's funny, but--back to the point--yes, the moose are four-legged replicas of the McKenzie brothers.

Ya, gotta love Strange Brew. It's like bob and Doug were transformed magically into moose. An I love how for the sequel the female moose are being played by Catherine O'Hara and Andrea Martin. Yay SCTV!
This is, in my opinion, the last of the great Disney movies. While home on the range was funny, it just doesn't quite live up to the classic Disney movie. Brother Bear was beautifully animated, with a wonderfully moving score (luv PC and MM). It has something for everyone.

This is such a sweet movie, it's like candy to me. Probably not Disney at it's best but well worth the watch when I'm in the proper mood. In my opinion, it's a little underrated but I'm not a critic: so this is just coming from a person who enjoys nature, animals, Phill Collins, a story of family, redemption, and silly humor! I think a theme of brotherhood (no matter what the topic) is starting to become more significant and heartfelt each day. My mother, brother, and I love it very much.
P.S If I'm bringing up too many old topics, just let me know and I'll give it a rest.

It's fine to bring up old threads; it's nice to have disscussion threads, rather than "Last Disney You Watched" and "Guess the Movie I'm Thinking Off".
I haven't seen this in quite a while; I'll think I'll add it to my ever-growing "Disney movies to watch" list.

I am glad you brought this back up Silver, becuase I have something to add with all these sequals out:
I wanted to comment on what a beautifully original idea this film was and that I wish Disney would go back to creating films like this.
