I love this film, although its not one of my absolute favourites. I love the character of Nani and her interactions with Lilo. and I love the gentle song she sings with lilo on the hammock, its one of the most beautiful songs in any disney film. I also very very very much love the He Mele No Lilo song... it never fail;s to make me feel happy. I looked up the meanings before and I cant remember what they are but i believe it is a celebration song about Hawaii. I could be wrong.

I hadn't seen this movie for a long time until recently and I just happened to catch it twice. I forgot how much I liked it. Lilo is a crazy little girl and so loveable. Stitch is very "cute and fluffy" and can be as crazy as Lilo which is probably why they get along. It is funny and touching how when she picks him out at the shelter everyone tries to talk her out of it, but because he is special she wants him. I have to say my favorite scene is with the ugly duckling book. SOO sad. I really like how it is so different from the other movies by using the watercolors. It was a very nice way to capture a feeling of Hawaii.

I know I loved the scene where he takes the book outside and calls out "I'm Lost" like the duck in the picture. It's like an E.T. moment. So cute.

I am going to keep my eye out for this one to return to DVD. It was so sweet. I have said it before, i don't cry but this movie made me cry. It is so sad near the end but the Grand Councilwoman has a heart and Stitch gets to stay with his 'small broken family' I like that Stitch was able to grow beyond his genetic engineering and overcome his desire to destroy the world. *tear* so sweet!

It's kind of funny that a comedy like Lilo and Stitch can also make people cry.

It's kind of funny that a comedy like Lilo and Stitch can also make people cry. I think that is part of it's magic. It is a comedy, but it is not only a comedy, it has touching moments and a wonderful storyline. and of course adorable memorable characters!

Ha, that reminds me.. I liked when he built that amazing city out of toys and then went and pretended to be Godzilla or something and totally crush it. And it was so great.. his little speech at the end of how that is a great family even if it is small and broken. Now that was a touching speech and it was good to see that even the councilwoman could be touched by it.

Ok, I totally love this series of movies, but the first in particular. It is just a true family movie, it has stuff that everyone enjoys. And for once, it's not a damsel in distress with the big ol' prince on his horse to come save her. I love the way that it shows life isn't always peachy and happy for people, such as in the way Nani has Lilo taken away from her even though she's tried so hard to proove to Bubbles that she is fit enough to take care of Lilo. Stitch himself is a truly great character, he's sweet and funny and cute ^_^ You can't help but go "awww" at alot of his scenes, namely the "I'm lost" and the "this is my family, its small and broken, but good yeh, still good" parts. Lilo annoyed me a bit when I first watched the movie, but she grows on you I love the soundtrack to this film also, it's great and you cant help but want to dance to it The characters are great, Storylines great, Animation is great. And it's something original!, ok sure all the sequels but they're sequels that you can actually stand! lol. Lilo and stitch, summed up in one word: awesome!

This is such a good movie. I love the characters, especially Lilo and how she's not "normal" but an actual person with an actual brain and independence. I think the story is really cute and it pulls on the heart strings. Its weird to think of Lilo and Stitch and my first impression is a lighthearted fun family film but its so much more than that when you look at Lilo and what she has to put up with and then Nani what she's trying to do for her sister and keep the family together, and Stitch as well from going from monster machine to Ohona (which I spelled wrong). As Kairi just mentioned their sequals are good too and I think Lilo & Stitch is a great movie to turn into a TV series but it was when I watched one of the TV shows where I lost a lot of my love for Lilo and she was just bratty and I get that kids act like that but it was a few episodes like that and it makes it harder for me to watch the movie with as much love as I did in the beginning.

I second all that Spell just said. Espesh the bit about Lilo being individual, I loved that Oh I forgot the bit how stitch calmed into a "normal" person sorta thing o.O

I enjoyed this film, but I think my favorite part about has to be the previews where they showed Stitch wreaking havoc in so many Disney classics. That was tremendous fun.
