Mulan is my favorite Disney movie. I think Mulan is such a great character. She's so strong and brave. I also love the Gang of Three!

Mulan was the last good film Disney ever made. It was not as good as the films prior to Hunchback, but still had a good plot, good animation, and good songs. I'd give this three stars. It's a good film. Not spectacular, but good.

I really like Mulan. It was one of the last movies to have the music sung by the actual characters. Definately one of my favourite Disney movies.

I didn't really like Mulan, i think the plot was really good and everything it just wasn't my type of thing. I remember my little sister really loved it and would always beg for me to watch it with her, so i ended up watching it loads which just made me not like it even more, lol.

It's a good film. Not spectacular, but good. What?! What about Tarzan? I think this was wonderfully well done. The themes are great. Don't judge by appearances: Mulan may look like a delicate flower, but she can kick your butt. I love that quote near the end by Mushu. "You risked your life to save your father, I risked your life to help myself. At least you had good intentions."

I don't agree, what about Tarzan, as Jane said, and Treasure Planet (which I love), Emporer's New Groove (One of the funniest of the Disney films.)
I don't really like Mulan. I like the songs, but thats about as far as it goes.

I just watched this movie again for the first time in a long time and although I really enjoyed it, it isn't my absolutely favorite. I really really like how it was animated to look very much in the Chinese style. I have especially really like Mulan's hands.. is that weird? I like the movement of them.. The songs are wonderful, but I think Reflection was over played when the movie first came out. I really like I'll Make a Man Out of You. I think that is one of my favorite songs from the movie, but then again I really like Donny Osmond, so of course I like that song. Shang is very nice looking and those certain times that Mulan kind was more herself and told him he was a good captain and tried to comfort him a little when they found his father's helmet, I really wished he knew she was a girl. ha, and her grandmother is spunky, cute, and fun. She reminds me of grandmother Willow. Mulan's father is so wise as well. And when everyone bowed to Mulan, can you imagine the feeling?? That must have been intensely moving and amazingly honoring!

What I liked about Mulan was that it was a really serious movie but it still kept it light hearted with the music. The music is very fun and bumpy, for the most part. I like the story line and how it focuses on her being more of a tom boy but still a great lady and beautiful. Also that she, a girl, proves to be just a good as the rest of the boys. Plus Mushu has his own the small guy can do the right thing too and come up on top. I think between this movie and B&TB it has the best morals for the society.

While this isn't in a top spot on my favorite film list, it's highly enjoyable. And it features one of my favorite heroines! I'm so glad the studio has featured a woman who is not only strong physically, but mentally as well. I really think of all the female Disney characters the studio made, Mulan is the one most worthy of being called a role model. She's selfless, kind, unique, valiant, and giving.
The animation is also gorgous! It captured the essance of what China has geograghically and the heart of it's culture. And the score implies the same concept. While it may not have the same stamena as the begginning of the golden era, it's still impressive. I think the film as a whole is very well-made and original.
