My biggest hobby or at least most time consuming hobby, if you would call it that, is theatre. I"ve done crew for the past five shows at my school and the Paint Mistress for the past three. I find it a lot of fun, its always cool to see the set in the end and then what chemistry it makes with the actors. I also love running crew, I like being backstage during the shows and feeling like I'm doing something. We just cast our winter musical, The Wiz, and I applied for Paint Mistress again and I'm hoping I get it. Its going to be so much fun and completely crazy for the set in genderal, the costumes, and the lights! Especially since we're doing a Carnaval theme for Oz. Sorry, I guess you didn't need to know all that but I just got back from the Read Through and I'm very excited. Other hobbies. . .well I guess it would mostly be reading and some writing. I also horse back ride but right now its a rare oppertunity for me. I'm actually pretty good at swimming but because of the people, the schedual, and the competition, I haven't swam since freshmen year. Oh I love books, My favorite books are fantasy and teen romance novels. I love Holly Black, Herbie Brennan, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Cornelia Funke, and Meg Cabort, to name a few. I also like Classics, like The Little Princess, Treasure Island and Peter Pan. In those you not only get swept into another world but another time too. I also collect a lot of fairy tale books. I have four different versions of Grimm fairy tale books, two of Hans Christian Anderson, and around fifteen collections from Disney, plus a few Mother Goose, and basic story collection books.

I've sorta fallen behind on my Meg Cabot reading. I've bought a book of hers in the past three years *gasp.* I own all of the Princess Diaries up to 8 and 3/4s, I've only read Haunted out of the Meditator series, All American Girl, Teen Idol, Nicola and the Viscount, and Victoria and the Rouge. I haven't read Ready or not or Avalon High, which I really want to read.

Did you ever read Stargirl by Jerri Spinelli?

Which film do you think Disney best represented for it's original piece? (As in which interpretation was the closest)

Wow I'd forgotten all about Stargirl. Yeah I read that in fifth grade, fifth or sixth. I loved that books too. Actually Jerri Spenilli is a really great writer in general. I love that she's such a quirky character and there's so many open doors of how to interpret her.
I guess it sorta depends on which version that you're looking at for the 'original piece' because the Grimms tales aren't originally theirs, but ones they've collected and had been circling around the world. I'm going to have to with Snow White. I know the original is a lot more gruesome, but with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid I know its drastically different. I don't know the original version of Beauty and the Beast and I haven't read Mary Poppins or Pinnochio so I can't really judge on those.

What is the best part of living where you do?

Besides my friends and family? They're really the best part of living because all the stuff I do here wouldn't be any fun without them. Well I'm lucky to go to my town's high school is one of the best in the state (we've been selected for all state theatre, music champions, math champions. . .we're lacking in the sports category). We also have one of the only malls within thirty minutes. We're a small community which is nice. We're also close to Chicago and the country at the same time, wich is also nice.

This is the first time in my life that I haven't taken the bus for school, but that's because I'm taking early bird gym (starts an hour before school) and the bus wouldn't get me on time. So I have my own car, which, I hate to admit, I use for getting just about anywhere. My friends and I try to set up car pooling options but all of us can only drive one other person in the car at the time, which can mess it up. When I do go to Chicago I normally take the train, if that counts. Public buses and taxis aren't used much where I live.
If I could live anywhere I'd live some place magical. I'm not sure which world though. Maybe Atlanta or the B&TB, maybe Hogwarts or Middle Earth. I don't know, there's way to many choices. Even if it was just here it would be hard to say. I'd love to see Europe, but live there? I guess I'm perfectly fine where I am until I get to college.

Would you ever own a Chinchilla?

No. I like big dogs and furry fluffy dogs. Chichillas are small and short haired and they yap a lot. My dog has this weird no barking thing, which is nice.
