Ari- I must have forgotten to update you. My NYC trip has been postponed. Aladdin is such a massive hit on Broadway that good tickets are nearly impossible to snatch up. You need to have connections of some sort if you want a decent seat. So we'll wait another year. Since going two years in a row is out of the question. Better to wait and catch the show I want so badly to see live from the heart of the theatre district. Oh yes! In my opinion. I find it to be Johnny Depp's finest performance to date. Who says drama is not his strongest suit?! Kate Winslet was the perfect counter-balance for him as a film partner. Julie Christie was magnificent to as a sympathetic antagonist. But for me personally, Freddie Highmore stole the show! Though all of the child actors were special. It's wonderful to see that you can still create moving pieces of film that are serious and yet uplifting without graphic violence or explicit nudity. I consider it the Beauty and the Beast of the 21st century. Critics and audiences of all ages and walks of life were enthralled, heartbroken and inspired when it was released in 2004. A well deserved Oscar nomination for Best Picture.

Yes it is one of my favorite films of all time. Quite brilliant. And funny you should ask on it being a musical... Because I was going to ask you the same thing. Lol! I was watching a bit on how they transformed it from screen to stage. I want to see it so bad.
Sorry about your NY trip. Maybe next year.
So what do you plan on doing for your vacation now?

I should check to see if Broadway World has released a "Highlights Video" for the press and public. Usually that happens after opening night and that took place two weeks ago. It's all right. Nothing can be done now so I just have to deal. At this rate. I plan to out sleep Aurora herself to claim the title of Sleeping Beauty! Even if her physical beauty easily out ranks me. LOL! Being serious, I do plan to simply chill out. I'm sure I'll do basic activities such as a night at the movie and dinner with a friend. But mainly relax at home. Maybe I can do a marathon of my favorite movies on Blu-ray!

Oh that would be lovely. I love relaxation time! Personally, I feel like I have too much stuff coming up in regards to little trips and holiday functions. But I'll make it through. I need a long weekend to watch movies or play video games and not be bothered! What would your favorite movie line up consist of as far as your Bluray marathon?

I hear you. Sometimes there's a desire to lock yourself away from the chaotic world and social media to reinvigorate your body and mind. And the only way to do it stop being in the center of such chaos. Closing yourself off for a brief time is beneficial. I really know that one from experience. I just peaked through my collection not to long ago. I'm thinking about splitting the live action theme against the animation. Day one would include The Dark Knight franchise, Black Swan, The Phantom of the Opera, The Illusionist, The New World, Tuck Everlasting, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic Park. and end with The Hunger Games installments. Day two would be The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story franchise, Frozen, Pocahontas, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Up, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and of course round it out with How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2.

No major plans. I have to work. I get three vacation weeks a year. But due to financial and personal issues. I do not have the means to travel and exciting explorations.

Hey Ari. The last movie I enjoyed at the theatre was Avengers: Age of Ultron. I haven't decided if I prefer the original or sequel more. Perhaps that's a good thing. I do have to say what I'm glad they have in common are scene stealing villains! I miss Tom Hiddleston's Loki (He's one of my fav actors currently) but James Spader as Ultron packs a wallop! Also worth mentioning is his character is not stale. He does make valid points about his mission. He's just too extreme. So instead you can refer to him as an antagonist. All the more interesting and layered. As you can see by my avatar. I'm a big fan now! He's doing a motion capture performance like Avatar) Somebody knows how to chew the scenery. All of our heroes still have their atopical but distinctive charm. We also have a small collection of new featured characters to help carry the high stakes of the story. One critic's review complained "the story is too cluttered and difficult to follow." I did not have any trouble. Heck I don't think nine year olds struggled. Personally, he just seemed bitter because he was too hung up on the original. The story is progressing but that does not mean all problems of our leads will be resolved. We all know that won't be until Infinity War Part 2 when their time together comes to a close. So naturally they have to remain at each other's throats despite their desire for justice and protection of the earth. It wouldn't be meaningful (or entertaining) if they didn't poke fun at one another. Let alone stopped haggling on what's the best option when it comes to team work in face of the enemy. I highly recommend!

If you ever have time on your hands. And don't feel the need to see all of the in between films. You might want to at least read the movie plots for Ironman 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: Winter Soldier on Wikipedia. There are small but crucial moments that will play into the this ensamble feature. Since this is a franchise series. Each one passes along tiny bits of info that will all tie into the final round. Not overly complicated but is helpful when going from one film to the next. This is my vacation week away from work. I am not traveling nor have any major plans. Just relaxation. Sighs with joy.

Actually it turned out to be rotten. My parents and I had numerous fights. From how to manage my money to me not being social enough. I got sick twice. And my best friend accidently backed into my car. It wasn't very relaxing and I was in a foul mood. Probably be better we didn't chat since I was so sour.
One can only hope my next vaction week is a lot smoother.

Oh I hope for your sake it does! I'm sorry you didn't get the relaxing vacation you had hoped for. Better luck next time.
Will you have any time built up for another vacation this year, or will you have to wait until next year?
