Down with Conformity!
Well, here I am. =3 Somewhat new, somewhat awkward, somewhat impatient.
But let me get the basics out of the way:
I call myself Jula, and that's what my friends call me. I'm 20, I live in CA (greater L.A. county area. All of it.) I am presently (July 8th, '07) in Nashville Tennessee, visiting a friend of mine. I'm an okay artist, and though drawing more disney-esque was a goal of mine, I've never bothered to practice, and so my art still has a very powerful anime influence. I don't want to do anything with my art as a carreer though; I'd much rather be a part of the Air Force's Space program.

Do you want to be an astronaut or are you more interested in the mission control side?

Ooh! Space! Do you want to be an astronaut or are you more interested in the mission control side? I would TOTALLY love to be an astronaut, but even being on mission control would be cool. I was watching the science channel, and I kid you not, watching Shoemaker crash into Jupiter, and all that tension, right before we got images of the marks they made on Jupiter- Eee! It seriously brought tears to my eyes. I just love that kind of stuff.

I wish I did. I'm honestly not a big TV or movie person. I don't know, the computer and the people on it are just far more appealing. The TV just subtracts valuable attention away from my RPing stuffs.

Medieval/Fantasy, the genre as a whole. It's where all of my characters sort of originated. I've had characters for eight years and under, all of which who've grown as my skills have and as the plots developed and advanced.
'cept for Adam. I made him about four years ago as an 8-year-old page boy, and he's still an 8-year-old kid.
But definitely, Medieval Fantasy is my favorite.
Did I ever tell about that dream that I had? I know I mentioned it, but I can't remember going into detail about it... but when I woke up, I just thought,
"Man, I'd really like to play as a knight in Cinderella's court. These characters would fit there so well."
Generally, I don't like messing with Disney's cannon plot, so I often dislike characters that are, say, "Twin sister of Ariel" (actually, for Ariel I'd prolly make an exception, since she actually HAS sisters, plotwise) or "Prince Charming's FIRST choice before I was stoled away oh noes!" or "Brother of whatever-that-girl-from-Atlantis's-name-was." I like the characters the way disney made 'em, and feel that their relationships shouldn't be altered. But still, I just thought it would be keen to play as a knight who saves the day, and serves one of the princess's....
Don't ask me why.
I just want to be heroic and knightly.

You're nickname is Fisher, did you choose that because you like fishing or is there another reason why you chose that name?

What kind of books do you like reading? do you have a fave color? I like nonfiction. I particularly like non-fiction books about questionably fictional items (such as mythology or ghosts.) However, I don't like biographies. I like learning about stuff. My favorite book is Micheal Shermer's "Why people believe weird things". Very interesting, though if you're easily offendable and religious, then it ain't the book for you. I like all the colors. However, "White" goes with any color combination. I like color combinations more than I like individual colors. White and yellow are great. Dark blue and white are really cool, too, when there's more white than blue. Standing alone, though, I think all the shades of cobalt; i.e., when you look into a deep cobalt glass bottle, that entire thing is my favorite color. Red's pretty nifty, too. This is a tough one. I have to say that I've enjoyed cinderella since I was young, but after watching it again more recently, I think that I like Sleeping Beauty, more. It revolves less around side-characters, and more on the main character. The Prince is more real and sincere, having personality, and I absolutely adoer the medieval feel of it. Aladdin is great too, though, because any disney movie where the main character is a petty thief, I give a thumbs up to. So I suppose the toss-up is between Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin... And the Emporer's New Groove. It's not often that Disney deals with completely selfish people as main characters. Well, I reallyl like the Medieval and Renaissance era... but I wouldn't want to live in either. I mean, they're awesome to study, but the Medieval Era was called "Dark Ages" for more than one reason (well, actually not, but there are plenty of aweful things about that period) and the Renaissance was full of hypocrites who praised the human body and then slew 'witches' by the fistfulls. But it still might be fun to live in if I were safe. If I had to pick any other Era to live in, I'd say Ancient Greece. =3 Religious reasons, actually. I felt that I wasn't paying enough mind to my religion, so I started signing onto boards as "Fisher", and every time I look at it, It reminds me to be a more dedicated person to my religion. (Haven't started yet, I'm too busy with the physical to worry about the spiritual. You know how it is.)

Protestant Christian; I was raised to be of the four-square denomination, but the only spiritual guide I care for is my father. Nope. Square-Enix + Disney isn't my favorite combination. Generally, I like to keep arts and cultures pretty seperate. For instance, Teen Titans? Eh. Blah. Not my thing. However, more or less, I found Kingdom Hearts relatively boring. All this running around and looking for things, it just got repetative. And I can't say I was terribly fond of the characters, except for the characters that were confined to the disney worlds, like Aladdin and such. But that's what those series are for; I don't need games for them. The only Final Fantasy game I ever liked was Final Fantasy IX (though I'd probably like XI if I tried it.) And so.. alas, it wasn't my favorite. I didn't bother checking out Kingdom Hearts II, and traded in the first KHs for credits to put into buying LOZ: Twilight Princess.
