it is one of the biggest, oldest hospitals in Denver, I doubt I can hurt them much, but my friends won't go there

it's a wonder that if they treat everyone that way, that any one still goes to them. is there another hospital around you?

we moved while Elijah was there, we had been planning it for a while, he was born earlier than he was supposed to. Now we live near a great hospital the doctor that would treat him if we had to go there is his pediatrician whom we chose or one of his colleagues, we like them and have met them all so it is a much better situation.

yeah it is! If we had had the time to prepare we probably would have done something with The Children's Hospital. They are much better, but no one expected me to get so sick so fast that we had no choice in the matter at all.

i developled "pre-eclampsia" a lot of women get it, mostly it raises your blood pressure and makes you uncomforatble. if if gets bad enough though, it can kill you because it shuts down your liver and kidneys, that is what happened to me. Doctors don't really know much about it, what causes it or why some people get it and others don't.

yeah, but they made me check into the hospital as soon as my blood pressure got high so I was under close observation before my liver and kidney's stopped working. They were drawing blood and running tests every four hours, after 8 days in the hospital I looked like a drug addict, I had so many needle marks in my elbow's they moved to my hands

haha! that's kind of funny.
Did they have any trouble finding the veins, I know some places do on me.

no, I had some blood work done when I was younger and the nurse was really dumb, but what ever she did it pulled my veins closer to the surface so they are really easy to find now. They laugh at the bloodbank because it is so easy to stick me and I bleed so fast they have their pint in about 10 minutes

wow!! that is so the opposite for me! when I got my blood drawn for testing the last time, they took 5 minutes to get the vein and even once they had it, the blood just trickled out it seemed. the aweful thing is during it they moved the needle and stuck it in further by accident and that hurt SOO bad.

It really wasn't. But Devon said it is very rare that that happens there.
