Violet - Wow, you guys had an earthquake? That's scary. Yeah, 5.2 on the Richter scale. The biggest quake in the UK for 25 years. 0_o Someone had their pelvis crushed by a chimney falling through their roof. That's scary! Though I have no idea how big 5.2 actually is, it sounds very scary since you said it was the biggest in 25 years. |

I don't know how big it is either, but it was enough to shake the house and knock pictures off the wall. According to Wikipedia:

Yeah, everyone's just a bit nervous, experts reckon there's gonna be aftershocks. Yeah our experts did to but there wasn't.  well ok ONE that you could barely feel. But our so called experts said the aftershocks would be bigger than the original. Not even close. So don't worry so much. Trust me my area is right on a major fault line so if our experts can be wrong so can yours. Anyway I know the feeling I was terrified after ours it was my first big one. I don't remember '89 because I was almost three. So it doesn't count. I was working on my computer graphics homework and was about to save it when it hit. |
