Would you believe my parents actually still want to buy the grocheries? Yet I want to buy my own. It must be an uncomfortable stage for parents when they know their baby is tackling a huge mile-stone! let them! as long as they will let them! save what money you have now, it will make the transition to being on your own easier if you have a nice cushion of money in a savings account.

Would you believe my parents actually still want to buy the grocheries? Yet I want to buy my own. It must be an uncomfortable stage for parents when they know their baby is tackling a huge mile-stone! My parents are going through the exact same thing. but they are doing pretty well with it My parents try to hide their emotions on the subject, but they don't realize that they give off signals to their discomfort. I hope they make it through the way your parents are. ;D

The worse my mom is doing is making everything that happens no matter what a "lesson to learn from" and saying she is going to move up there with us >_< Hello Kawe and see you later Sarah!

Bye Sarah and hello Kawe!
Lorelei- I understand your meaning on saving money but at the same time I slightly disagree. (Emphisis on slightly) The economy I'm living in isn't exactly the easiest. And my parents are bending over backwords for my family! I want to do my part so they don't have to spend so much. My brothers are trying doing the same. And I guess I feel a little selfish when they do what's supposed to be my shopping. (Sorry, ranted there for a moment)

that's ok, and i see your point. i guess it differs for every family. I personally, wasn't allowed to buy food of any kind, my stepmom didn't want it in my room, so until i moved out that wasn't an issue for me, but i did buy my clothes and things that i wanted but didn't need. Whatever works best for you! you know your own situation better than i do! (i tend to give advice randomly, if it doesn't apply to you i won't be offended if you ignore me)

Lorelei- I appreciate the advice very much! I was just stating my opinion on the topic. But you're right, no one knows you more then yourself!
