Well we opened presents, I helped my mom make dinner, and then my sister and her husband came over. We played games for about 5 hours, they left, and then mom painted my nails. =]

Yup. I can't say I don't miss the years where we've had grandparents and my siblings and such come, but this year was nice and unique.

Your celebration sounds like the kind i have not had since I was a child. Christmas is very very quiet in my family nowadays, its only a small quiet group but its still very nice.

Mine would have been like that, had my sister and her husband not come over. I doubt my parents and I would have had as much fun playing games with just 3 of us. But only 2 more awkward years of just me and my parents for the holiays, and then college |
