Well, it's just been rumored to be the best Zelda Game Ever, so it took me a while before I bought it.
Incidently, I owned Ocarina of Time first, then followed by Majora's mask (which I never finished), The oracle games (which I barely started), Wind Waker (which I DID finish), Soon followed by The first Zelda at the same time as Adventures of Link (which i'm in the process of playing, and I got 'em for christmas along with a NES game player) and then Twilight Princess. I'm not gonna bother with the Minish cap.
Oh wait. I think after Ocarina, I also got Link's Awakening for GBA...
I was a powerful addict for a while.

Man it has been forever since I played on the gameboy.. I forget which Zelda we had.
EDIT: I remember it took place on an island and there was a mountain with an egg on it. Do you know which one I'm talking about?

There are a lot of them, but I think they started putting out a surplus more recently.. probably to compete and keep up with Final Fantasy, since, seeing as they're the same genre, the people who are gonna like Zelda are prolly gonna be the same people who like Final Fantasy.
That's my theory, but I have no supporting evidence for this, just a guess.
But while Final Fantasy is awesome, I just am not a fan of turn-based systems.

Wow haha the only Zelda games I ever played were Ocraina of Time,a little bit of Majoras Mask and Wind Waker. Majoras Mask was to tough for me and I didnt get it so i gave it back haha I give up to easliy. Wind Waker I think has the best graphics so far. I never played Twlight Princess so I dont know about that one yet.

Wind Waker does have fantastic cartoony graphics.
Twilight Princess has very nifty animation, but when you enter the market-place, it's so very obviously trying to be Final Fantasy, except you can't talk with anybody.
But the graphics are great. The trailers are just as good as the game play.
Man, I'm already missing the game, now. I have it for the Wii, but I just dn't have a Wii; I only played it on Gamecube and it was my friend's.

ahh ok. ^_^ I liked that one, but like I said we got stuck and never finished. I think Twilight Princess is so awesome, probably the best. But then again I have barely anything to compare it too

Well, it is REALLY GOOD.
So you don't have to have anything to compare it to. The art, the graphics.. I don't honestly think it had a very Zelda feel (I feel the same about the Windwaker) but it was still a great game and Link is always awesome in any outfit.

I used to hate it when the characters didn't have voices and when they talked the words just appeared on the screen. And they would talk for soooo long

I like that he wasn't a little stumby elf thing anymore in Twilight Princess, that he actually looked human.. kinda

I remember in one scene in the Ocrania of Time where you become an Adult the King of Hyrule dude would talk for hours and hours! (literly! I would leave the room to eat while pressing the A button and he will still be talking it was insane!)

Adding a voice to Midna, however slight and noncoherent, I think made a big difference in Twilight Princess. It added character to her a WHOLE LOT.
