The MCAS is something that we take here in 6th grade, 8th grade and 10th grade. The others don't matter. But the 10th grade one is like this: If You fail, you don't go to 11th grade.

oh, we dont have those here but we do have Chsee, California High School Exit Exam. you take in in tenth grade and if you dont pass you take it again in eleventh and then twelveth until you pass. If you dont, you dont graduate. there are only two sections though, english and math. I passed the first time.

Yea its the same here. 2 sections, english and math. But here if you fail the 1st time they make you take it over and over again in 10th grade. You can't take it in 11th or 12th.
School starts again for me soon. Plus i'm writing my Baseball manga "Koshien Mugen".

oh ok, so its like your states version of the same test. I get it. it was soooo cool at my high school cuz those that passed the first time just got to enjoy the shorter schedule for the last two years cuz it changed for the test and the classes were blocked where odd periods were on one day and even periods were the next, or that was the way they did it for two years and then tney made it all weird after that but it was still shorter.
