I went with God Help the Ourcasts, but Part of Your World and Once Upon A Dream are my second favorites

One of my neatest Disney experiences was last August when I met Mary Costa, who did both the speaking and singing voice of Aurora. I love her crystal clear vocal performance in Once Upon A Dream and I Wonder.
As a side note, why isn't Belle from Beauty and the Beast included in this poll? That's a great song too.

You met Mary Costa! Okay I'm very happy for you, but completley envious! She's one of my favorite opera singers! And she seems so down-to-earth & humble! What beautiful Light Lyric soprano too! But among those listed "Part of Your World" is my top choice! Alan Menken & Howard Ashmen are incredible for creating this marvolously absorbing song! And the performances by Jodi Benson and Sierra Boggess have me tearing up almost everytime it plays. They're both such refreshing talents who have amazing vocal gifts. I wish I could sing like that! The lyrics themselves hit close to home. It's bittersweet. There's hope and dissapointment. What person hasn't felt these conflicting thoughts of longing to break out of the mold. To reach a place you feel treasured and delighted. I know I do!

Mary Costa is indeed very down to earth and humble. She said during a panel discussion before the film that she appreciates the role of Princess Aurora the most of everything she's done in her career(which for those who don't know is pretty astounding) because that role has enabled her to connect with generations of youth and talk about how hard work and believing in your dreams can come true.

I voted for "God Help the Outcasts" because it's such a wonderful song, but "Reflection" was a pretty close second! L.G.

Part of your World has always been one of my favorites, I'm not sure what it is but it is just a lot closer to my heart than the rest of them.

I was tempted to go with Ariel, but I feel Cinderella's song embodies everything Disney is about. I love the idea that if you "have faith in your dreams someday...the dream that you wish will come true."
