I thought it would be lovely to have a thread for this talented young man. Now the world recognizes him as the villianous Hans from Frozen. And he was tremendous in his own right. I'd like to start a thread where we could chat and discover more about his diverse talent. Here is a little insight for those unfamiliar of his theatre repitoire beyond Frozen. The understudy of the title character of Stephen Sondiem's musical Sunday in the Park With George. The same man who wrote music and lyrics for Sweeney Todd and Into the Woods. He had leading roles in William Shakespeare's Hamlet. The Verdi opera La traiata. Tony Elliot in the musical Billy Elliot. This holiday season he will co-star with Tina Fey and Amy Poeheler in the film Sisters. (Trailer will be coming soon) And before he was famous as the man who dissed a Disney Princess. He was a real live Prince Charming in the Broadway musical revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Here is a video of him as Prince Topher (short for Christopher) along with his cast mates Laura Osnes as Ella, Victoria Clark as Marie/Fairy Godmother and the ensamble at the 2013 Tony Awards. He comes in at 3:38 but I recommend watching all of the video for a few surprises. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcP1cV3nBZI And at no point in this musical did Prince Topher lean into kiss Ella and then say "If only there was someone out there who loved you." Remember, before he was a Disney animated villain, (November 2013) he was the classic romantic lead (March 2013) who treated a princess as she deserved.

Ah... He has quite a background. That is impressive. He will do great things. I'm very eager for this talented gentleman to seek recognition well beyond the world of Hans. He has so much going for him with his voice, humor, range, and lovability. I'm hoping to include more videos in the future whether they be performances or interviews. So keep an eye on this thread my friend.
