Arielle- The original stage musical and I enjoy both movie versions equally. Have you heard about the new Annie coming out to theaters?

Fair enough.
Besides Phantom, what's your favorite musical?

Silver- Never had the opportunity. Came close with Lion King once, but it fell through.
Arielle- I saw a trailer for it on IMDB and it looks interesting, Annie in the 21st century.
Donald Duck- I never really thought about that, but it would have to be Annie. I really enjoy the music and the awesome happy ending.

I'm sorry you couldn't catch The Lion King on stage. My fingers are crossed it will happen in the future.
Not nearly as important with the story but I must ask a fellow animal lover.
What do you think of the breed they chose in this year's film adaptation of Annie? Espcially since it's been a tradition to cast a mutt as opposed to pure bred animal.

Silver- I forgot, what breed of dog was it?
Arielle- I tend to lean towards either candy or chips. I especially love Cheez-it's and Pizza-flavored Pringles.
Donald Duck- "Be Prepared" from the Lion King, hands down!

I'm 99.9% sure that puppy is an Akita. Everything about it's anatomy and facial structure says so. That's a breed that is famous in Japan. Not so much in America.
Are you hoping for a moment where Annie will sing "The Sun Will Come Out" to Sandy in this remake?

Silver- An Akita. Thanks, and yeah that would be a good scene.
Donald Duck- No reason other than it's in the Lion King and TLK is one of my obsessions.

Putting aside the fact that this new Annie is a contemporary piece.
What do you think of the induviduals who were cast the principle characters?

Silver- Well, it was a little different at first, because of the different race, but it should still be a good film. I've seen some of Jamie Fox's stuff before and he's a good actor. I've never heard of the little girl before.

Her name is Quvenzhane Wallis. She's only 10 years old and is already an Academy award nominated actress. She starred in Beasts of the Southern Wild. A heavy drama.
What other movies do you like the feature Jamie Foxx?
