Shortly after its novelization in 2001, there grew rumors that this was going to become a screen adaptation. I remember reading the books and loving it... becoming excited. But after the years passed, and nothing was heard, everyone just figured that they had decided against it. However, in July 2013, Disney expressed interest in developing a screen play for the first two movies (so far). Robert Deniro being one of the producers!
For anyone who hadn't read the books, they are about a child prodigy who dedicated his life to criminal activity. He lead the his family's criminal empire. But he thought he had confirmed the existence of faries and the books are about his journey of tracking them, getting their book of knowledge... and then it goes on with a wonderfully delightful series of events. It has been years since I've read the books.... I remember them being awesome!
What does everyone think of this?
