Anyone else out there whose seen Winter Dreams at California Adventure? I went a couple weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It was completely different from World of Color and definitely got me in the holiday spirit. The show opened up with an absolutely gorgeous song sung by a "virtual choir," something that has been made famous by choral composer Eric Whitacre. It basically brings singers from all over the world to sing one song through the Internet. ( x) The rest of the show is "emceed" by Olaf and it goes through a bunch of holiday songs as well as little tidbits from our favorite Disney characters (there's an entire Toy Story sequence in which they perform The Nutracker, which was adorable). By the end of the show, they begin shooting off HUGE snowflakes into the air, which are actually soap formed to look like snowflakes (how they managed to keep them so solid, I have no idea). ( x) As far as I know, Winter Dreams stopped playing at the same time the rest of the holiday decorations were taken down around the parks, so it's not playing anymore, but hopefully they'll continue to show it during the holiday seasons!

I can't be the only person who wants to see Pixar produce a full length Toy Story Nutcracker. While I enjoyed Winter Dreams, the Toy Story Nutcracker was the best part.
