This is kinda silly, but I like to think of Marshmallow from Frozen as female. This is mainly because of how happy it is to find the tiara Elsa discarded and I don't know, I just like the idea of the big scary, masculine sounding monster actually being a girl.

You're referring to the giant snowman that chased them away from the ice palace? Anyway in regards to the theories of how there could be a connection between the Frozen King and Queen's death and other Disney films, I found this which is kind plausible. Especially since it uses the best theory in my opinion that they'd gone to Eugene and Rupunzel's wedding. Calling her the girls' cousin is an interesting addition.

As do I and it fits with how you can see Eugene and Rupunzel at Elsa's coronation.

Yeah, I can totally see that connection! These headcannons make the movies so much more interesting!

Alright this isn't mine, it came from here: guff.com/disney-theories-that-will-blow-your-mind/But I think it's brilliant. Olaf represents the part of Elsa that was never nurtured, her deepest desires. That he likes warm hugs and wants so much to experience summer are things which reflect Elsa's desire to be able to control her powers. The fact that he's a snowman who would melt in summer is her parents teaching her that her powers are destructive and must be concealed (Olaf must stay in winter). The name 'Olaf' means 'Ancestor's Descendent' or 'Heir'. Elsa was the heir to her kingdom. This could have been represented by just any snowman but she chose Olaf because he's the character she created in her last moment of innocence with her sister, the last thing they shared together. A part of her sister that she could have nearby. This isn't exactly how it's explained in the link but it's my personal version. The one in this link about UP is also interesting except that Carl is not reunited with Ellie at the end.

I'm willing to buy the connection of Tangled with Frozen. Traveling down to Germany from Norway. The Litte Mermaid not so much. On the film's commentary, the directors said they used the the eastern coast of the mediterranean sea as inspiration for their backdrop.

On the film's commentary, the directors said they used the the eastern coast of the mediterranean sea as inspiration for their backdrop. Which film? The Little Mermaid or Frozen? Your point is valid though as while we don't know exactly where The Little Mermaid takes place, the accents of some of the human characters suggest either England or France. The Tarzan portion of the Shipwreck theory is also bogus, a completely lack of knowledge of the Tarzan film. 1.) Tarzan wasn't born in the jungle, he was born in England not Norway. 2.) He was born a Lord not a Prince. Something not discussed in the Disney adaption but my mother told me. 3.) The ship in Tarzan went down in flames, the ship in Frozen got caught in a storm. No fire. 4.) The name Tarzan wasn't his birth name, that was the name the gorilla gave him. Plus I do not see the resemblance.

It's The Little Mermaid that takes place in the Mediterranean. Most of the fish are rather tropical looking

A lot of people put The Little Mermaid as happening around Denmark because that's where Hans Christian Anderson is from, and the story is Amsterdam's pride and joy (they have a statue of her in their harbor and everything). And as for the English and French people in the movie, they could have simply relocated for their jobs.
And the Tarzan connection to Frozen only got started because of a snide remark someone on Frozen's animation team had made, and people took it as gospel truth because people. Anyone who's paid any attention to both movies at all could knock the theory within a minute.

That's right The Little Mermaid as the same author as The Ice Queen. Thanks for the info everyone.

I guess this thread is as good a place as any for this, but I was watching The Rescuers and thought it would be really cute if mice from fictional Disney countries like Maldonia and Arrendelle were in the Rescue Aid Society

Double post! I've watched Planes Fire and Rescue more times than I can count. (My nephew is at that age where he wants to watch his favorites over and over and over) and anyway, after watching it so many times, I kind of got the impression that Windlifter is secretly in love with Dipper. Often, after Dipper fangirls over Dipper, the camera cuts to Windlifter looking annoyed and it's probably *supposed* to be more of a "cool it, Dipper, you're annoying him" expression, but it comes off like he's jealous Sent from my GT-P3113 using proboards

I like to think that the Star Blazer Zero and Commander Crash toys from Doc McStuffins are part of the Buzz Lightyear toyline
