DAY ONE: Your favorite character I have to go with Peter Pan. I do know some people see him as a little abrasive or mean or whatever, but I think he just stands up for himself (and the people he cares about). I love his carefree attitude and his child-like spirit. I'm always going to be a kid at heart. I'm not immature, but I take things as they come and don't really dwell on them and see the happier side of things in life. Peter is my main man, and will probably remain my favorite character for a very long time.

DAY TWO: Your favorite official princess Even though she's not technically a prince, she's still in the official list of princesses, so I have to go with Mulan. She goes through so much and is definitely an under-appreciated 'princess'. She definitely has more qualities of a heroine, but that's what makes her even greater. Not only does she sacrifice her life and her honor for her father, but she also puts her life on the line for her country. She is such a brave young woman and will be amongst my all-time favorite characters for a very long time.

There's something joyful and childlike about how Disney interpreted Peter Pan. Growing up, it was probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Disney film.

There's something joyful and childlike about how Disney interpreted Peter Pan. Growing up, it was probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Disney film. I definitely agree! He's about being carefree and enjoying life as only children do. But many people seem to think he's "immature" or are interpreting him to be a bit more negative than he is actually portrayed. Regardless, his character is my favorite and his movies is definitely one of my favorites.

I think that perception comes from JM Barrie's depiction of Peter Pan in the original work. Never growing up can be a very bad thing. But at the same time, growing up has never meant having to stop looking at the world through a child's eyes.

I totally agree and that's pretty much how I live my life. There's certainly a difference between immaturity and being a child at heart.

DAY THREE: Your favorite official prince I definitely have to go with Aladdin. He's certainly one of my favorite characters, mostly because with the adversity he's faced with every day and he still overcomes it with a smile on his face. He is one of those characters that many people can relate to and has so much heart and drive inside him, that it's exciting to see his development throughout the movie!

DAY FOUR: Your favorite heroine This one was a little harder. I managed down to narrow it down to three choices, which was Pocahontas, Esmeralda and Alice. I didn't have to worry about Mulan, because I had her as my Princess I ended up choosing Pocahontas because I love how she addresses the cultural insensitivity in her homeland (towards John Smith and company) which I can totally relate to with the present government running New Zealand XD Not only that, but she also "listens to her heart" and follows what's right. I also am fascinated by the Native American culture (which is what she is, I believe?) so it was nice to have Disney represent that culture and the people of it.

DAY FIVE: Your favorite hero This one was tough as well. I think I went with Tarzan because he makes so much development in his movie, not only learning how to speak English, but learning about himself. He tried so hard to fit in when he was growing up, and ultimately learning that he belongs right where he is.

DAY SIX: Your favorite cast of characters I absolutely had to go with The Lion King. Not only are the characters incredible, but the cast of actors voicing them are as well!! Such a crowded place with some of the finest actors all bunched up into a single amazing movie. This movie covers everything with the characters from humor, sadness, redemption and, of course, music!

DAY SEVEN: Your favorite friendship This thing just gets harder and harder. The reason I chose Winnie The Pooh and Christopher Robin was because how genuine their friendship. We hardly ever see Christopher Robin these days, but Pooh and Christopher are so fond of each other and I think people always try and aim for a friendship like theirs. They can be who they want to be when they're around each other and their friendship is just so pure and genuine. I have to admit, it's quite cute

DAY EIGHT: Your favorite sidekick I realize that Nani's more of a supportive character than a sidekick, but I quickly scanned through the rest of the 'days' and didn't think I'd be able to put her anywhere else, so she can go here Nani's actually such an amazing character and Tia Carrere is so perfect and capturing Nani's essence and spirit through her voice alone. Nani has been thrown into this situation where she has to raise her little sister, while still learning to be independent. She has to remain strong for herself and for Lilo, which must be such a hard thing to do, especially when Lilo's dealing with her own conflict. Nani is not only a great mother/sister/friend to everyone in the movie, but she's pretty hardcore when it comes down to it. She's definitely athletic, which we see during her surfing. She is also beautiful, and I don't blame David for constantly pursuing her She is very smart and her responsibility and maturity is so impressive!

DAY NINE: Your favorite couple These two came straight into my mind without hesitation. I think they have the most unconventional meeting and development as a relationship. Both Belle and Beast bring out the best in each other. Beast lost hope until Belle came along, and Belle lost hope for a better life and finding that one true love. She could've had Gaston, but she chose Beast. It's not a cliche love story which I find most appealing.

DAY TEN: Your favorite animal couple I'm still not sure whether it's the fact that we're currently going through the '101 Dalmatians' in the versus threads, or if they really are my favorite. But I do have reasons why they popped into my head. They go through so much during the movie, physically and emotionally. They have so much love for their puppies and go through so much to rescue them. It's cute how they meet too, and their love for each other is amazing. Plus, they end up having all the other puppies as their own too, which they were more than happy doing. They are awesome!
