A fun link, but the author confuses the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California which opened in 1955 with the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida that opened in 1971 in some places. The author uses pictures from both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom interchangeably like they're in the same location. While both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom are similar, they also have some substantial differences. Since the author in question here does not distinguish between the two, I will make distinctions and corrections where necessary.
For instance, item #4 shows a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland, but it talking about the Magic Kingdom in Florida. The Magic Kingdom, which has Cinderella Castle is built on top of the Disney designed utilidoor system. They developed the system after building Disneyland.
#6 says Disneyland, but shows a picture from Walt Disney World. Both parks do refer to all employees as cast members.
Item #12 talks about the Cinderella Suite at Walt Disney World, but claims it's at Disneyland in California. The author also mistakenly identifies the suite as once having been an apartment for Walt Disney. Walt Disney passed away in 1966, and the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971. While it was to have been an apartment for Walt Disney, it never was. Before being converted into the Cinderella Suite, it was a phone bank room.
Item #3 is a picture of Cinderella Castle in Florida which does not have a drawbridge, while Sleeping Beauty Castle in California does. Both do contain the Disney family crest.
item #2 is true, but the Disney family apartment was only in Disneyland in California. It is above the fire station on Main Street USA. The lamp in the window was turned on whenever Walt Disney was in Disneyland to let CMs know that Walt was in the park. After Walt Disney passed away in 1966, Disneyland turned the light on in the apartment and has kept it on ever since.
Item #1 is about Disneyland as ToonTown was located in a different place before it was closed in the Magic Kingdom.
