The ending of Toy Story 3 did open up a possibility for a fourth movie (and obviously many shorts), so I don't mind either way.

Is it October yet? I'm starting to get a craving. I just watched Toy Story 3 a week ago. Then I re-watched the other shorts on Youtube. I'm very eager to see what's in store next and this short-story sounds fascinating. If I hadn't heard about this, I probably wouldn't be antsy. Now that I have there's no turning back.

I am sooooo with you, girl!! The moment I hear about something I want to see, I'm like a little kid counting down till Christmas; it never gets here fast enough!!
I'm really hoping this meets my expectations! I do believe with as excited as I am now, I'll be crushed if it is a bust.

Arielle- The perfect description for somone with so much anticipation. Now I'm not expecting to have the same emotional reaction as the trilogy. Most short films by Disney never get that deep. I just want them to put a little heart heart and soul into it. Pixar was able to accomplish this witth my favourite short films- Partly Cloudy, Day and Night and Dug's Special Mission. So here's hoping they keep their word. It does comfort me though that Tom Hanks is returning. He has his pick of any film he wants and he decided to come back for a short. Something must be special with this short.

Sorry for the double post. I can't help it though.
I'm like the children during this time of year. They all crave for Halloween to arrive so they can scarf down unbelievable amounts of candy. Well the sweet treat I'm craving this October has nothing to with candy. It's this!
I'm willing to start a countdown. I want to watch this sooooo badly!

Another double post. Feel free to call me strange for going gaga over a short story on TV. But Disney and Pixar has done nothing to get me so excited so far this year. This is the first time I'm o the edge waitingfor something to arrive. I also just saw the marvelous Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips last weekend. So I'm especially eager to hear him return in y favourite character from Pixar.

Is it going to be rerun? I usually watch Survivor with my family at that time. We don't have Tivo or anything like that, so we'll have to choose.

If anyone missed it or want to rewatch it, here's a putlocker link! So, what did everyone thing of it? I personally thought it was really clever and well done, as well as addressing some real issues of theft and fraud. I also thought they did a really good job of approaching Jessie's anxiety with boxes. It was funny as well as riveting and the new characters introduced were absolutely adorable. {Spoiler}I absolutely loved the Combat Carl. Although it does make me pretty sad to know that one of his fellow action figures got blown up by Sid in the first movie. It was also just really nice to be back with our old favorite characters {Spoiler}Who do you think bought Woody for $2,000? Do you think maybe it was Al, trying to regain his Woody's Roundup collection?

Butters- If you still have not been able to see it and don't wish to watch it on Youtube. Disney Channel will showing it next Friday. Joy- It was the best piece I have seen from Disney/Pixar all year. And it was only 22 minutes long! It's actually a simple concept for writers. Make the audience beleive in the charatcers because they have heart and soul. I felt it again from this beloved franchise. Not shying away from their protagonists in peril (physical obstecles and emotional trama) is what gives it substance. I appriciate this more then you know. Everybody had their heart in right place (cast and creative team) and it sells. If they continue with this type of quality I say bring on another feature film. As it appears the lack of good quality family oriented films grow smaller every year.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have learned that Pixar is making a Toy Story Christmas special that will air in December 2014.
