I agree as well. I enjoyed it, but after my first viewing they replayed it too many times for my attention span. Now I am more sick of it than a fan of it. And it may bare resemblance to Quantum Leap but its no Quantum Leap.

Disney tends to have that ability to make you sick of a film after they first show it. They are showing "Camp Rock" so much this weekend that I believe half of the fans will be sick of it by this evening. I was sick of it back in March. They did the same thing with HSM. I think it's because they don't have many original thoughts, so they have to capitalize on those they do have.
And for the record, Minutemen will NEVER be Quantum Leap.

The way Disney's forcing it down our throats, you will have ample opportunity to see it.

they sent an email saying it would be available for online viewing too I think you are right James, they have to capitalize on it while they can.

Here's the thing about the non-stop premiere. It makes sense for Disney to do so. Not everybody may be able to catch it the first time out, so doing it this way gives viewers multiple opportunities without having to wait. And of course those who eat this up can watch it to their hearts content.
Now all that said, Disney needs to keep something in mind. 10 years from now, HSM, Jonas, et all are not going to sell theme park tickets. There's a big risk to this strategy that could have disastrous implications.

Minutemen was alright I guess. Predictable, as usual for a DCOM and cute too. I guess I really didn't really like any of the characters. They were hard to connect to.

There's a big risk to this strategy that could have disastrous implications. It absolutely makes sense. And it's not unexpected. I think I'm just more annoyed how Disney is trying to force what becomes popular and what doesn't. It just gets on my nerves. They didn't do near as much for "Minutemen" because they aren't trying to promote something they want to promote.
