I honestly can say neither. Both were unique in their own ways, just as Gotham seems to be unique in its own way. Throughout watching the first episode, I found myself comparing it to both sets of films. You cannot do that, because this is something different in itself.

I'll take a risk and ask about a spoiler. It read in a description of a magazine. It said you see Bruce Wayne's parents murdered while he is with them.
Is the man a young joker or is he an ordinary man off the streets?
(Whichever you answer with will tell which film inspired this program)

Well the show is to be a crime show based before The Bat. However, it looks as if it was a random person. But who knows... Could turn out to be someone!

I guess I will find out tonight how it all went down. Which would you rather have? Peanut butter and jelly or chocolate and peanut butter?

What do you think of Ben Mckenzie as Jim Gordan so far?

I think that so far so good. However, our DVR didn't record this weeks episode tonight. I have to wait till it comes on Friday.

Nice to know I'm not the only one lagging behind. This tends to happen whenever I start a new show.
I'll be sure to bring it up in the actual thread. But I figured I'll ask here first to make sure you see it.
Do ever digitally purchase films?
I ask because How to Train Your Dragon 2 will be available to buy on amazon or through the offical How to Train Your Dragon social media website) on October 21st.
If you are still traditional ( with blu-ray/DVD combo packs (such as myself) you ahve to wiat til November 11th.

You have a choice between being ridiculously rich and becoming a superhero. Which do you pick and why?

I read Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. Possibly more... But that I don't recall. I remember it being difficult for me to read at the time. I was quite young. But I thoroughly remembered enjoying the stories. I haven't read anything of his since I've been older.

I did the same with Romeo and Juliet too.
Was there ever a gigantic novel you hoped to read but feared the length of it?
(An example would be War and Peace)
