That's exactly where I think I've picked mine up from, this girl at work who was still stupidly coming in choc full of it working behind the bar coughing, sneezing and spluttering away, refusing to be sent home  |

Gah, I hate when people are like that.
I didn't want to call in sick when I was really bad because I had only just started work in Jan and didn't want to call in sick so early on in working there.

I could only work 2 days out of 5 this week cos of my cold I'm not gonna lose anymore days next week though, I just can't afford it |

Awe, I know how that is. I'm lucky that I get 10 paid sick days at my work so I didn't have to worry about losing any money.

They all get counted out then split between 30 of us equally, lol! Good thing at least then that we get more than enough tips each time for a decent amount! |

That's a great way to split tips. We did that when I worked at the restaurant. It was a great way to make everything fair. We also split tips with the kitchen staff who made the food for everyone. It worked out good esp if I got all the tables with the bad tippers even though I did a fantastic job. Students were the worst tippers.
