It took me a long time to get this job. I worked retail for 10 years before hand.

One can only hope. Once I get my last class finished I will start some serious job hunting. I just live in a small town. There aren't many job prospects unless someone retires. And I don't necessarily want a drive. My fioncee is moving here to eliminate his drive, so it would be kind of pointless for me to get one out of town. Defeats the purpose.

That sounds really familiar to my story. My fiance got a job working in another city so I moved with him.
There was nothing available in our home town and in order to get a better job it was better for us to move away.

That is my story... except he moved here to become a cop because his town was unbelievably smaller. >.< But he loves being in law enforcement and he likes being here. So I can't complain.
