funkyk is entitled to her own opinion as are you. It's not disrespectful at all as she was just stating something as she liked the film and didnt understand why you didnt like it. Thank You Mrs Nesbit

I wasn't saying that she was not entitled to her opinion, I would never do any such thing. I felt like she was disrespecting mine the way she worded that comment. She sounded like she was saying I should like it. and by the way she asked me if I had even seen the film, I felt that she was accusing me of just spouting my mouth off just to be a jerk. Thats just how the wording of that comment made me feel, and my mom taught me that the way someone else sees your comments or remarks is important.
I also in no way was rude to her about it. I did make it clear in that post that I may have misunderstood and politely apologized for that event. I am polite and never assume (and there are people out there who would) so I prepared for the event that I was wrong and apologized in advance. So all she had to do was politely say that she meant otherwise and that I was mistaken, then I would apologize again and there would been no trouble.

Just so you know, I'm guessing that John Lasster will more than likely have put a stop to this film, even if it was just rumoured, as the last sequel to a disney film is going to be The Little Mermaid 3 Lasseter's stopped a lot of prequels, sequels and midquels being made since he became the Chief Creative Officer of Disney and Pixar including a Tinkerbell quadrilogy, a prequel to Chicken Little, American Dog by Lilo & Stitch creator Chris Sanders, the original plot to the 2010 Toy Story 3 and many other abysmal plots. Hooray for John Lasseter I say!! Hip hip hooray! ^_^ Though I admit to being a bit disapointed about the proposed Hercules sequel. Personally, I don't really see where they could go with the Lion King movies anymore.

ooh cool, they are stopping the sequals. its about time. The only movie I would approve a sequal for(but only if they did it right mind you) is Monster's inc. I wanna see what happened when Sully and Boo met again cuz they totally cliff hanged it. But we really didnt need more Lion King. Its all just the same thing now. A new future King or Queen has to grow up and learn how to take over the kingdom. Whoopie. There is nowhere else to go really after the second one. EDIT: oh and I apologize too Funk

I agree with everything you just said lol I reckon a Hercules sequel could have been done extremely well as there' loads of mythology to go off for story ideas and all the voice actors are still alive so they could have got the original cast back! But again, I'm extremely glad Lasster's on board to stop stupid ideas like Lion King 4 coming into fruition

Sorry I with respect of your opinion disagree. A sequal to Hurcules would ruin the classic myth. Despite that Disney did not follow the original Myth at the least. Its like what they did to Cinderella. I will be glad when the sequals stop.

This thread seems to have gone way off topic. It doesn't seem like there'll be any Lion King 4 so there is no point to this thread. Someone can make a new thread in The Disney Theater about the squeals and what not.

I know this is locked.. but I just saw this thread. I just merely wanted to point out why they made Lion King 1.5 or 3 or whatever you wanted to call it. They were following what Shakespeare did. Since The Lion King was based off of Hamlet, they had a perfect sequel storyline with Rosencratz and Gildenstern as the bases. No matter if you liked it or not, it makes sense and I do think they are out of material and it is wise to stop.
