Well, I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet, which is way easier than using a mouse. A tablet lets you use pen pressure, so it's more like painting. Although, my favorite coloring method actually doesn't use pen pressure, but it's still easier than using a mouse.
I've also been using Gimp for around nine years and I'm always looking at new tutorials and techniques.
