I completely agree. This just proves that Disney cannot come up with that many creative ideas anymore, so they have to milk those they have. If they plan for a series, it's one thing. But, to make a series just because one film is successful is stupid.

oo wow, people are on my side with this one!
It's true that I liked the first one, it was okay and passable. But a fourth one? Come on! You already ruined it with a third.
My friends and parents can't help but say what a shame Disney has turned out to be, giving the new generation stuff like this (wow I sound old) when the classic ones had moral values and actually taught you something while making it entertaining.
...aah... the good ol' days.

With the exception of Pirates and Narnia, most sequels are unnecessary. |

yea I agree.
The first one was okay.
but a 2nd,3rd,and 4th one come on now!
I just think they should end HSM.
Just my opinion.

Can i just point out something? This is only aimed at Tweens and they seem to like it. so why are you guys bashing this about? Because...we're not tweens? No one on this board is. Therefore we're outside the target audience and when you're not part of something's target audience, you may simply not "get" it. |

And because everyone on this board loved Disney for what it once was, a much more family orientated company in comparison to its oversexed appearence in today's market, and maybe don't appreciate in any shape or form, the self indulugent tripe that the company is peddling out in the form of HSM and Hannah Montana...

Now that HSM 3 has been released how the heck can they make a fourth, they freaking graduated, there is no more high school for them. Unless they do it like Grease 2 and make have it be about the next senior class. But I am watching Grease 2 right now coincidentally and its so not as good without the original characters.  Not that I care either way in this case I am not a HSM fan. |

I wouldn't say it's ONLY aimed at tweenagers but they're the age group who seem to enjoy it the most. Despite the fact that the three films were successful, I think it's time they let it go and come up with some new ideas. It wouldn't be the same without the original characters and as I've said before if they make too many films it would probably become a bit of a joke. |

to be honest, I would like to see ht the New Kids will do and see what Tiara will do. Obviously she will try and spin it her way. like Sharpay did. But it would be interesting.

Well I saw HSM 3 a few days ago cuz my daddy bought it for my 9 year old sis and I will admit I do like it better than the 2nd. At the end they say what college everyone is going to and they said Sharpay would be helping at East High so they might have her in HSM 4.
It would be like they did in Grease 2. They made Frenchy a teacher or something of the sorts.
So I dunno. I don't exactly have high standards for the 4th movie.

Disney has announced that HSM 4 will air on the Disney channel and will feature some sort of competition between East High and, you guessed it, West High.
