I'm heading to Disney World for my honey moon in September! It'll be my first visit. I was wondering if I could get any advice on what I should see and do while there? We'll be staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

But of course, not EVERY SINGLE little detail naturally as a honeymoon IS after all, a pretty personal celebration between a newly wed bride and groom,, tee hee hee! ;D

Make sure you tell them when you check in that it's your honeymoon. They will give you special buttons that may result in extra magic during your stay. When you make dining reservations (which are an absolute must do in order to dine at most of the places where you want to), tell them it's your honeymoon and again when you dine.
For instance, on a family trip in 2006, we ate at the Italian restaurant in the Italy pavilion at Epcot. We told them that it was my parent's anniversary and they sent the accordion players especially to our table where they played Bella Notte. Awesome. At another restaurant, they brought us a special dessert selection with Happy Anniversary written in raspberry sauce on the plate.
Characters may also make a big deal out of it, especially those with significant others such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and the princesses.

They'll give you a first visit button. I don't know what sort of "pixie dust" they'll spread with that as I've never had a first visit button. I don't even know if they made them when I made my first visits. Disneyland was in 1978 and Walt Disney World in 1994.
I do know that birthday buttons also help. For my 3 birthday visits to Disneyland, I had some special desserts, well wishes from cast members, the famous birthday phone call, and some great interaction with characters because of that button.

I'm getting really excited for this. I've bought a Disney World Guide and a Disney World Meal Guide as well for the trip. I should be getting them in the mail soon. I can't wait to go over all of the information I know that we have to start booking things now if we want to get our dinner reservations.

Plus if you're staying at a Disney owned resort, you can book reservations from 190 days out instead of 180. And for Be Our Guest, you will need every single millisecond of that 190 days. The Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada at Epcot is amazing too (also expensive), but it's also a very popular ticket.

Perhaps you should go around wearing a "Just Married" badge so you don't have to keep telling everyone? I hope you have a great honeymoon! I can't suggest anything having not been there, especially not for a honeymoon, but the internet says you can get wedding mickey and minnie ears to wear on your stay, and free stuff in turn - which sounds awesome

My mom bought me the Minnie ears with the veil on it. I'm planning on wearing them to my wedding shower and around the park when we're there. I really want to find my husband a pair to wear when we're there too hahaha

I really want to find my husband a pair to wear when we're there too hahaha I've often seen groom mouse ears in the form of a black top hat with mouse ears on top. You shouldn't have any problem finding them. There's also a just married button available.

We bought small back packs to carry our stuff around the park. I'm going to put mine in there and take them out once in a while to take pics. I'll ask my mom where she bought them so I can find the matching pair for my hubby to wear lol
