Oh yay! I really hope that they do as wonderful a job with this movie as they did with the previous two. With Pixar doing this sequel it is bound to be good.

I'll probably end up giving this one a miss to be quite honest as I really think that 2 Toy Story movies is more than enough

well as we all know disney is slowly loosing its magic and making a third vesion of toy story sounds a bit--well- naff--there i said it but the plot sounds great. also quoting the man who started the franchise:
"Disney will carry on aslong as theres imagination in the world!"

Well enough should be left alone. However If it does come out I will still give it a try as I love both the previous films. Since Toy Story has one of the best Disney sequels ever made, I have some hope for this film.

That is soooo cool. I liked the Toy Story movies a lot. They were so exciting and as a kid those were one of the few movies I would actually sit and watch. .

Hmm, the link doesn't provide too much info, but I'd like to see what we all can come up with in regards to what we think the plot will be. I'm pleased that they have Tim Allen and Tom Hanks still. It bugs me when they make sequels and change the character's voice...it's just not right. But both of them are good actors and this gives me high hopes. Plus, it says that the guy that worked on Little Miss Sunshine is helping, and I've heard good things about that movie.
Maybe it won't be so bad after all...

Hm lets see a possible plot. . .yeah I've got nothing I know the second one sorta covered this but maybe Andy is out growing his toys or moving off to college or something and then the toys try to adapt to their new situation? Now its sounding like The Little Toaster so I don't know.

Ooh yes Little Miss Sunshine is a great movie I love it and so does my BFF If someone from that movie will be helping with this one that my hopes just went up a little more. maybe Andy is out growing his toys or moving off to college or something and then the toys try to adapt to their new situation? Now this I would like to see, that would be a very interesting story. Since in the other two Andy did not seem to really grow that much at all until the very end of the second movie. I would love to see what happens to toys on their world when I child grows too old for them.

Personally Iwas already satisfied with the two films they made. I thought the company had rounded the story out beautifully. But if the script catches my attention I might give it a try. I've even heard rumors many of the original cast memebers might be returning. (Rumors being the operative word) But even still, I don't want these great films to become a franchise that focuses more it's bells and whistles as opposed to the storyline. Which sadly becomes second nature in many film franchises. Here's hoping anyway.

I will sum up why at this time I am not worried one little bit about this film in one word: PIxar.

Exactly. Why even bother doubting Pixar seriously?! They've never let us down.

Beause I don't judge films based on the studio they are made by. (And I will admit there have been a few films they have made I wasn't too fond of and could have had more substance) But that's an induvidual's perspective. If some wish to trust a studio itself to amke great films then I respect that. But I for one don't give the final call until the film has been seen.

I trust Pixar not to mess this up entirely. I won't watch it, because I have good memories of watching Toy Story as a kid and don't want one of my favourite films ruined by a lame sequel. I watched the second one, but didn't think much of it.

Interesting Jocasta.. because I think the second one is the same awesomeness of the first, or is better. Which is why I am looking forward to this one, even if there is a possiblity it could be worse.
