Yeah I agree with you Lexi. If it weren't for Toy Story 2 we wouldn't have had Jessie, Bullseye, Stinky Pete (Kelsey Grammer rocks!!) or Al. I too am looking forward to this

Interesting Jocasta.. because I think the second one is the same awesomeness of the first, or is better. Which is why I am looking forward to this one, even if there is a possiblity it could be worse. Yeah I think it is as well I think its one of Disney's best sequals. Which is why I have faith in this film although I don't think it necessary to mess with an already good enough thing.

I love the Toy Story movies but like others really hope the third one isn't a let down. Interested to see where the toys go next.

One question in my mind that arises is who's going to be playing Slinky, Wheezy and Lenny seeing as though their respective voice actors (Jim Varney and Joe Ranft) have since passed? =/

I didn't really care too much for either of the Toy Story movies. They just didn't interest me, so I'm not too excited about this. L.G.

Hm lets see a possible plot. . .yeah I've got nothing I know the second one sorta covered this but maybe Andy is out growing his toys or moving off to college or something and then the toys try to adapt to their new situation? Now its sounding like The Little Toaster so I don't know. That's exactly what I was thinking. I did enjoy the brave little toaster though.

Which was an idea that John Lasseter came up with.

I have to say I am getting more and more psyched for this film after recently watching the first two all over again Also interesting to note with a comment I made previously, on the Jim Varney front, he's been replaced by a friend of Varney himself who apparently sounds a lot like him. It's stated on wikipedia but the official source is the MTV site which looks pretty conclusive. www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1599550/story.jhtml It also addresses Paul Newman being replaced as Doc Hudson in Cars 2

That is very interesting Elliott. I bet it will all work out for the best. They did a great job on one of the sequels, I am sure if they are spending this much time on this one that it will be great too.
it is a bit off topic, but since you mention it.. why are they replacing Paul Newman?

I want to see this movie but I think that there is too long of a gap between Toy Story 2 and this. I mean its over ten years. Oh well, I have faith in Pixar.
