I just saw on the news that Disney is planning another remake of A Christmas Carol. Jim Carrey has been chosen to play Scrooge and all 3 ghosts.

Oh awsome! I love A Christmas Carol if they do I will defetinly go and watch this! I don't really like Jim Carrey as much but I will still go and see it!

I know Jim Carrey can be serious. . .but really him as Scrooge? And the ghosts? Can't they have various talent and cast more people? I just hope he doesn't do what he did to Snicket's Unfortunate Events. I wonder how they're going to portray the Christmas Carol.

I think Jim Carey would make a good Scrooge, a very different one but god none the less. I don't know about him playing the ghosts though. Each of them are supposed to have their distinct apparence they are not triplets.
EDIT....oh unles its an animated movie I didn't even think of that but Jim Carey is not really famous for being a voice actor so I dunno about that but there should be no difference its still the same person.

I think it would look better live action then animated really. Though Disney did try A Christmas Carol in Animation Starring Uncle Scrooge as Scrooge and it was pretty good but I just think it would be better in live action since the orginal Christmas Carol was a live action movie to begin with.

I think Jim Carrey would be a great Scrooge. He is very underrated as an actor, and could bring both the right comedic and serious touch to the role.

Yup! Tottaly agree! It would just not seem right just hearing Jim Carreys voice in an Animated Version, but I could defetinly see him playing Scrooge.
