Gahhhh I'm obsessing over this movie and its music. I'm curious to see what song you all like the most. Of course, "I See the Light" has been recognized and nominated for best song, but I think that there are some very talented people that worked on the music for this film and are deserving of recognition as well. So what do you think?

Edit: The When will my life begin reprise 1 was not actually in the movie, but I believe it's still on the soundtrack. Reprise 2 is the one from where she actually leaves the tower.

As much fun as I've Got A Dream is, this is still a real easy decision for me. I See The Light may be my 2nd favorite romantic scene in a Disney film.

As much as I've come to love "I can see the light", I had to vote for the When Will My life Begin reprise. When I was watching it in the theater I just felt so happy for her and connected to her emotions. I LOOVE her response to landing on the ground. The dynamics in the song are certainly noticeable, but also the pace of the scene itself is perfect. It feels so magical to me and I just can't stop listening to it!

That's the moment where I believe that "When Will My Life Begin" really begins to soar. Up to that point, it's a nice song, but at that point, begins to remind me of "Part of Your World, " which I consider the gold standard in the "I Want" song department as somebody at Disney animation described those kind of songs.

I enjoy all the songs but Mother Knows Best is one of my favourite Villain songs of all time.
It's got such a great energy and Donna Murphy just blows me away, her voice has got such character. Reminds me a little of Eartha Kitt in places actually.

I think I like the reprise to Mother Knows Best more than the original. The music is stronger, it has more emotion, and it's at a very critical point in the plot that just puts me on edge every time I listen to it! But I agree that Donna Murphy is undoubtedly talented.

I love them all, but my favorite is "Mother Knows Best". I love the line that says, "Plus I believe, gettin' kinda chubby. I'm just saying cause I wuv you."

I voted for "Mother Knows Best". I agree with Kristin that the intention behind the reprise is much stronger, but it's far too short for my liking, which is why I voted for the former xD
