Ummm, no. That one would not make a great sequel. The ending was nice and made the film complete.

I never saw the first film, bt if I remember corectly it was one of my mom's favs as a kid. Its goes back very very far. They can't make a sequal to a film that old, thats murder in the first degree!

how can that be? and i don't blame your mum it is genuinely a classic in any case has she read the books by Mary Norton? Bcoz according to a fantasy book it is based by two of her novels.

I don't think so, and I don't know anything about any of it like I said I never saw the film.

I've only seen it once when I was little so I don't really remember much of it. But what I do remember of it I don't really think it would make a good sequel.

its on CinemagIc now ALL THOUGH ITS ALMOST OVER! I watched it this morning as well lol And no no noooooooo I definitely don't think they should make a sequel. Not without David Tomlinson (and seeing as though he's dead he won't be coming back ) Also I would imagine Angela Lansbury would be in her late 70's, early 80's? I doubt if she'd be up to doing any stunts like she did in the first. So no lol I don't think it would be a good idea. Could have been but not now :X

Could have been but not now :X Yeah reading this, it would be a lot like trying to make a Mary Poppins 2 with an elderly Julie Andrews who as of recently can no longer sing and Dick Van Dyke no longer looking anything like Burt. (I didn't reconize him in Night at the Meusem and I still don't. I only know it was him because of IMDB.)

^ I agree
I suppose it might have been a nice idea "back in the day" as it were, I think it's just a bit past it now :S

Yeah but I think they're too grown up now :S The girl who played Carrie played a mother on Eastenders a few years back and boy did she look old!
