I cried twice as well. It was a really emotional movie.

I agree. If you enjoyed the first two, this wraps up the series very nicely. Usually, I hate when a bunch of new characters are introduced into a sequel, but they are very cleverly integrated into the plot.

I cried as well mostly when... The gang were bracing themselves to burn in the fire - I mean just the way they all took hold of each others hands and looked at one another - it was just so touching!!!
But then again, when they got saved I was mad. <-- maybe I'm a horrible person but I kind of wanted the toys to burn since Disney had me all crying already - I was emotionally prepared to watch Andy's toys meet their end and bring about the end of the movies.
When they make it home and Andy gives them to the little girl I just... I cried again... I just wish Bow was still around for Woody!!! I think she disappeared in the second movie right?

Kawe: I agree entirely!
Kerbobbled: It was addressed in the beginning of the 3rd movie that she was broken by Andy's sister at some point in time.

This was a wonderful movie. The storyline get me hanging on the edge of my seat the whole time. I really enjoyed where Woody and the Gang ended up and it really opened the door for another movie should they choose to do so with all the new characters they introduced.

Just like with TS2, the new characters introduced in TS3 were wonderful! Everyone of them were very well rounded.

If the same writers come back. Then I will be more open to anotehr film. Of course Tom Hanks would have to return as Woody also. I literally can't imagine anyone else in this iconic role. It belongs to him!

I wouldn't mind another movie. Although they have released some shorts which I have yet to see. When they finished the movie, I thought that there was no room for a sequel. Then Toy Story II came. It was fantastic! I felt that this movie actually did have potential for a third, which proved to be a big success. I'm a little reluctant for another movie, but as Silver said, if everyone returns, I'm sure it'll be a hit!

So this movie happened to come on Starz, so I recorded it so I could give it a look. I do have to say, as far as sequels go, Pixar did not let me down with TS2, and the same can be said with TS3. The new characters that were introduced were original and great, the story line was fabulous, the graphics were just as visually stunning as the two prior, the relationship between Woody and Buzz was just as I remembered, great bad guy. Golly, I could gush about this all day! My favorite scene was where Andy actually gave his toys to the little girl, and the all played together one last time. It was heart wrenching watching Andy grow up, then pass the torch. But in the same aspect, it leaves the door open for another sequel, which if they could keep as good and original as the others, I would welcome warmly!

Only one of three animated films to ever be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy awards just celebrated it's 5th anniversary on June 18th.
My favourite Pixar film of all time!
And before there was Frozen breaking Box Office records. There was this! The only other animated film to reach past the billion dollar mark. (When not adjusted for inflation) Also the winner for Best Animated film by the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and Broadcast Critics Choice awards.
Congratulations to the creative team!
"Someone told me you're good with toys. These are mine but I'm going away now. So I need someone really special to look after them. Can you do that for me?"
I'm going to cry just thinking about this scene.

This was really a visual delight. I am so glad that Pixar was able to make each of these three films better than the last. This was my favorite TS installation. They are going to have their work cut out for them trying to make a fourth one. They have a lot to top.

I'm a sucker for a good dramedy. Not that I didn't enjoy the first two films. But with the stakes so much higher, I was blubbering mess by the film the film ended.
According to Pixar president Jim Morris "The sequel will not be a continuation of the third film. It will be a stand alone sequel."
My interest is quite peaked!
