we were suppost to have snow, or at least ice at my college, but it instead is a lovely weekend and week. it is just a bit chilly with the wind.

How are you?

I'm doing alright. Had a long day. Worked from 9:30am to 4:30pm and then went to my parents for a little visit. My kitty isn't doing so well. She'll be 14 next month and she has these really nasty scabs near her ears because she keeps scratching at them... If it doesn't get any better we're going to have to take her to the vet to get them checked out and to get her proper meds.

I'm okay. Had a pretty full on week, but today was pretty relaxed. Just got back from school an hour ago, lol. Couldn't be bothered hanging around so I went home.

Lucky. I have more work the next 5 days and I have to fit in two sessions looking for a house and taking my kitty to the vet... going to be pretty busy... I don't like being this busy. It makes it rather stressful.

Sounds more intense than my week! lol. It's been extremely stressful for me because I have been fighting with the teacher's and the principal, trying to get Drama running. It was cut because there wasn't an appropriate time slot and enough interest. Stupid school, lol.

Have you taken any drama classes before?

Yep, I've been taking it since I started high school, lol. We actually went to a national competition last year and really raised the profile of Drama in our school. We used to be pushed aside and put to the bottom of the pile. We're not going through that again, lol.

I hate the snow right now. I'm finally in the mood to continue to learn how to drive so I can get my full license and the roads are too awful. I was about to go for my driving test in the fall but our driving ministry went on strike and I haven't really had a chance to drive since. Just a little rusty.

Oh, that sucks. Those are the times I'm glad it doesn't snow here, lol. So, how does the system with Driver's licences work over there?

At 16 you can take your written test and then learn how to drive with someone in the drivers seat who has had their license for more than 5 years. A year after that you go for your G2 drivers test and you can now drive on your own. A year after that you go for your G which is your final drivers test. It's interesting to note that you can drive around with a G2 license for quite sometime without having to go for the G. If you let any of those expire you have to go back to the previous step and start over. I've had my G1 since Feb 2007. I have until 2012 to get my G2 and drive on my own or I have to take the written test again if i let it expire.

Wow, really?? NZ has it pretty good then, lol. You can go for your Learner's Licence when you're fifteen where you can drive with a Fully Licenced Driver with you. Six months later you can get your Restricted Licence where you can drive around on your own and immediate family members. Eighteen months later, you can get your Full Licence. You can shorten to Fourteen months, I think, if you take a Driver's Defense. Some of my friends already have their Full Licence's, lol.
