I agree with you there! I think Australia is a beautiful country with amazing people. I hope you're in fact able to travel there and tell us all about your adventures. Another typical question, but I always feel as though I have to ask. Why do you love the Disney franchise (or Disney films) so much?

*I typed an answer to this post yesterday, but I was stupid enough to run Ccleaner in the meantime, so I got logged off, so my entry wasn't posted* It might take some years before I finally go there, but perhaps with some luck I can have a study project abroad. But whenever I go there... I'll make sure to post some on this board I actually like your question:P. I think my 'love' for Disney is mainly because of the nostalgia. I grew up with most of the 90's disney videos and some other. Plus.. I have very fond memories of getting the Lion King vhs as a present with 'Sinterklaas' The majority of the movies has a very good story with a quite good plot and nice songs. And.. if you have to watch a film with a group, Disney is always a good choice . As for the franchise, it's cool that a part of the things is also for grown ups xD. And there are so many characters that actually everyone has to like at least one part of the franchise. *there was more I wanted to say, but can't remember it atm, so I'll post that another time *

@ Spell: scholar is the version to find 'scientific' articles, useable for uni etc @ Silver: That's also difficult . Concerning pets, I think rabbits. They're just too cute, fluffy and huggable:P From animals in general, I think I have to choose for a platypus

NO , never watched P&P actually , but I think since Ferngully and my partial obsession for Australia I think my fav childhood toy was a mini version of Pride Rock, which could be opened and then you had a mini jungle with mini mini figures of Nala, Simba and Mufasa . No idea where it is now tho , probably somewhere on the bottom of a box or so xD it was this one: www.donettas.com/minipriderock66377.JPG

I had that toy when I was a young girl! It so much fun to play with.
What book did you read that implied humans are now becoming regualr prey options for orcas?
I know there's been document cases of attacks but I've never heard of a official documented case of a human victim killed.

Yeah, it was a great toy , I really should check where it is now xD, probably partly incomplete, I fear, but ok @ Spell: I can get annoyed by people who think that they are better than others and always act that way, or people who hate you for some weird reason, even when you don't know that person well. And some minor things like sudden loud noise, cars passing by to fast etc. @ Silver: at your previous question: Never knew the Aladdin and B&tB sets existed and at your new question: It was a fictional book , but it was written in a way that it sounded awfully real . It was in the book 'The Swarm' by the German author Frank Schätzing. In the book it took place near Vancouver Island when tourists were making a whale watching trip. And I've been at that place and considered taking a whale watching trip xD, but we didn't, but because I 'know ' the place etc, it sounded more real The book is an 'eco-thriller', so more or less the whole world is getting demolished by some natural force xD. I do recommen it , nicele written, some scentific facts used and a lot of action (but be prepared for some unusual actions xD) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Swarm_(novel)

My opinion is that they are sometimes quite overrated as 'cute' animals, but they can act like real wild animals, concidering the way the hunt for preys etc. But I don't see them as over-agressie either. But it's more of the idea of falling in a sea, near a pack of orcas with quite sharp teeth...
