Don't worry I'm still here. By the way how is your computer coming along?
As for me, I'm doing well. But can't wait for the weekend to be done! (You probably don't know too many people who say that) I work all weekend though. Monday and Tuesday are the equivilant to my weekends. And with summer right upon us it's been more hectic then I imagined. I just need to sit when my shift is done.

haha, I can imagine how you could feel that way. I know in the summer it is easy to lose track of days as most days feel like the weekend. Do you have Mondays and Tuesdays off, or are they just slower days?
my computer still will not turn on, I have taken out my hard drive and put it in my sister's old computer and backed p everything that was not saved. But my sister's computer does not get wireless internet. So I am still stuck with borrowing her new computer or my mom and dad's computer when I can... I am in search for a mac for a good deal...

Sorry about that but I got a little distracted by another website. As to answer your question, I requested to my manager to always have those days off. Well unless it's an absolute emergency.
I'm sorry to hear that. I know just how you feel. But think of it this way. You can still borrow your family's memeber's. And hopefully the new computer will be even better then your last.
Oh by the way, did you catch the latest Terminator film?

ah I see. Is there any reason why you chose those days instead of the weekend? And that is ok, I understand distractions yes, it is very fortunate that I can borrow theirs, and that my computer died in the summer and not during school. That would have been SO terrible! No, I did not see it. Did you? Was it good if you did see it? I doubt I am going to see it since it is not on the top of my list and movie tickets are so expensive here, so I think I will only see movies in he theater that I really want to see in theater verses on dvd.

Alexis- Well you can't request off the weekend because that's our busiest time. Not even my managers have the authority to just casually ask for it off. Unless there's an important event happening in your life you better be prepared to get your butt to work bright an early. (Unless you work the late shift)
That can be a great coincidence! And now you have all summer to search for another one.
Yes I did see it. But I'm exeedingly fortunate because one of our local theaters is very cheap. Along with the snack bar. So I'm sorry to hear the expenses there can prevent people from enjoying a relaxing activity. And in that case I can understand. It was a fun action film but hardly a classic. (You can read my full review in the Chatter Box section if you want) It will probably save more time.

ah, sad, but understandable. haha, yeah I guess the late shift should not arrive bright and early I am glad it was good, I actually have not heard much about the actual film. I will have to read your review. yes, the one at my school is cheaper, so it is annoying that I come home and it is so much more. How much is it there to see a movie. We do have a dollar theater, but they are very small, not as close to us, and only play films after they have been in theaters and before they are dvd.

I guess if I had to choose I'd rather work 8-4 rather then 2-10.
At my theater it's $5 per person. That may sound like a great deal but compared to some theaters it cost $12 per person. That's just pathetic in my opinion. So I'll gladly take my option. Besides whoever I go with we usually buy our own tickets and food. Plus the food is great and the seats are comfortable. How much does your regualr theater cost?
Personally where I live, a dollar theater = a cruddy theater. So I won't be caught dead in those establishments.

wow! $5 is amazing! in SC it was $8 even and here at home it is about $9 give or take. ok, so it isn't that much more than the SC theater, but it really seems like it, especially if you get refreshments. It is $4 for a small soda! and yes, the same is true here as well about the dollar theaters. It is kind of neat because it is so old and I like how it is decorated with morals of classic films, but it is run down and has a scary customers. But we saw a movie there once or twice and one time we went there to see a movie with our latin class and we were the only ones in there and they played it just for us!

Alexis- We used to attend this expensive theater that had pretty poor conditions (how ironic) so I can see where you're coming from. Hopefully one day they can build you a theater like I have now. Great service, great prices, great quality! Keep your fingers crossed. Oh by the way I was going to PM in alittle bit that I just thought of. Keep an eye out for it.
Chealsea! Hey, what's up? I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful vactiaon. And you're absolutley correct! "There's no place like home!" Sorry couldn't resist. What was the best part about traveling in the U.S?

Hey! Nothing much is going on at the moment. Just relaxing in the apartment. I was all over California over the past week. We went to San Diego, Hollywood and San Fransisco to visit one of my best mates who's there at school. I love your line from the Wizard of Oz and it is so true. Traveling in the US is fun because everyone is so nice and we are so popular because we have accents! Everybody we meet asks us a lot of questions and they all are so nice and friendly! How are you deary?
