I was watching a preview last night and I thought I saw Jadis, the White witch, in the trailer for the new movie. Has anyone else noticed that? Bear in mind that it was really late at night and i was really tired, but I am pretty sure I saw her. Nope, you weren't dreaming or imagining the White Witch. That is infact her. I don't believe she's supposed to play a major role, but Tilda Swinton (the actress who plays the Witch) is definetley making an appearence. I'm guessing that the company couldn't resist having her back (even for a minimum amount of time) after seeing her fabulas performance in Micheal Clayton. But I don't think she'll be the one stealing the show this time around. Either way, I can hardly contain myself! This seems like one of those exilerating action films that still has substance. It's highly entertaining yet you still go home and ask many questions that you still don't have answeres too. If the screen-play has been written well, it might so much as be on par with "The Dark Knight"! Which is also getting early rave reviews for it's phenomenal blend in action and storytelling. Very few summer action blockbusters seem to have this technique. (Or at least from what I've seen)

Given the original source material, this film had better have some depth to it or else the filmmakers failed horribly.

In the trailer I just saw Susan and Caspian kissed! I really think that might ruin the ending ... in the book they had no chemistry. : /

That's part of why I'm more excited about WALL-E than Prince Caspian. At the end of the day I may like Caspian better, but right now I'm going to judge Caspian by how well it honors C.S. Lewis orignal story. WALL-E does not have that burden of expectation to meet.

As soon as an oppertunity arrives next week, I'll most certainly be taking a seat at my local theater! I've heard both a mix of positive & negative reviews on this film. Hopefully it will be as beauitiful and action packed as it's made out to be! (And in case for the book-fans, faithful) I haven't read the book, so I'm fortunate enough to see it fresh. So that brings expectations down a notch.
