Even though it is the second book, but it is really the first book. No...Prince Caspian isn't the first at all. Edit: Unless you are talking about The Lion, The Witch and the Warbrobe.

The plans are to do all 7 books in the series but theyll have to shift if they want to use the same children (which would be a good idea) as long as they continue to use British homegrown talent for the children, Im happy.

Is this the second book in The Chronicles Of Narnia series, or is it just the one they decided they'd like to make next just because?

Is this the second book in The Chronicles Of Narnia series, or is it just the one they decided they'd like to make next just because? I've loved all the books since I was little Prince Caspian was the second book written in the series, and the only other besides The LWW to contain the four Pevensies as youngsters. (The Horse and his Boy had the four, but when they were adult Narnia royalty). Lucy and Edmund come back for another adventure in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Even though it is the second book, but it is really the first book. Isn't Prince Caspian set hundreds of years after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe? I think The Magician's Newphew is the first book chronologically, though I could be mistaken

Yep, summer of 2008. I think it's because of all the special effects and things.
