Tinker Bell and the Ring of Belief is the new title for this movie. It has been delayed and won't be released until sometime in 2008.

From what I've heard, Tink is suppose to be given a voice, which I personally think is great! We're suppose to meet her fairy friends where she lives with them in Pixie Hollow. I absolutely love Tinkerbell, and I can't wait to see the movie! I'm thinking the reason we've never heard Tink speak is maybe because only her pixie friends can talk to each other. Of course, Peter's always been able to understand her. She's so adorable!

Cinderella III had a preivew for this and the animation looked stunning. It was set for release later this year, but when John Lasseter took over WDFA, he decided to delay the film. It was not cancelled, but they wanted to do some retooling on it. The man who directed Cinderella III and The Heffalump Movie is now directing this film. From what I heard, they liked the concept and the idea, but felt like the story needed to be improved.

i don't know if that is good or bad news, I hope they put the work in to make it good because it could be a really cute story, and it has a lot of potential.
Captain Hook and the lost boys could understand her too.

I don't think delaying a film to get it right is ever a bad thing. Beauty and the Beast suffered delays, and Meet the Robinsons was delayed a few months. It's better to delay a film and get it right than to rush it to meet a deadline and turn out less than your best work. A good film isn't like a school paper.

Yeah I agree its always good to make sure you do a good job, like my best friend always tells me to do on essays and projects. I however am not interested in this movie. I think its taking away from the charactor to give tinkerbell a voice, I liked her silent except in Hook of course. I am also not a fan of Brittney Murphy the chick I heard was picked to provide the voice.

Sometimes i feel like it gets delayed and when it is released they should have continued delaying it and done more work....

Exactly. As I look back on it, the early 90s films in spite of Eisner. I think he rushed them through too many things and we ended up with a whole lot of visually stunning, yet storyline/plot challenged pictures. What I'm hearing out of John Lasseter now that he's running WDFA is that they're going back to way Walt did things, and sometimes that means delays.

I hope Myley Cyrus is in it! She is so great!! And i quite agree with the person who said that the person who said that they do not agree with brittany as being the voice of Tink as she has a more teenge girl who is increddibly depressed then a young little girl who believes in fairies.
