maybe if she talks it will only be to the other fairies, but to humans she still can't talk, that i could get on board with, but they would have to make it so that all of the fairies couldn't talk to humans, just each other for me. That would make it like The Aristocats, the cats talk to each other but the humans don't understand them, and Fox and the Hound and Oliver and Company and lots of other Disney movies. That would not make a difference this movie seems to center around the fairies, so she would be talking all the time anyway. I still give this idea a no.

There is a preview for it on the Peter Pan DVD. It really does not look good to me. The animation is terrible. It is undescribly bad.. like they tried to make it look realistic and ended up making it look very not realistic. The preview doesn't have Tink talk at all, it has the people talk though. Actually.. here is the perview www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcMnSwg52hg&feature=relatedIt looks really bad and corny to me.

Wow that was even worse than the first trailer I saw. You can't force imagination on kids they have to embrace it on their own thats what makes it pure. Other than that I second all of Alexis' words.

Oh... Dear! What i dont get is.. Why TINKERBELL, I mean.. she has to have the most crummiest like "job" or element out of all the fairies... fixing pots and pans... Why does she have to be the one that finds the true meaning...? o.O Silly Disney, go and ruin Tinkerbell even more for us! I mean, in the peter pan movies shes always been some what stuck up and self centred.. why would she care if people forgot about fairies XD

She is stuck up and self centered.. you would think that she wouldn't care about people or anyone else. Well, maybe she would care if her own life is in danger because of them not believing, but I think that would be the only reason

Well, she appears self-centered in the film because, according to James M. Barrie,
"Tink was not all bad; or, rather, she was all bad just now, but, on the other hand, sometimes she was all good. Fairies have to be one thing or the other, because being so small they unfortunately have room for one feeling only at a time. They are, however, allowed to change, only it must be a complete change. At present she was full of jealousy of Wendy. What she said in her lovely tinkle Wendy could not of course understand, and I believe some of it was bad words, but it sounded kind, and she flew back and forward, plainly meaning "Follow me, and all will be well."

Urgh...did anyone see the sneak peeks last night during the airing of Peter Pan on ABC?
Tink's voice is horrible. It's not that it's a bad voice, per se, it just doesn't suit her at all. And her personality has changed completely. Part of Tinkbelle's appeal is her sassiness, which she seems to have lost based on the clips I saw.
I admit that the clip they showed, which had Tink trying to teach a baby bird to fly was cute and kind of funny, but I think I'd have enjoyed it more had it been a different character, and not Tink. It seemed very out-of-character.
The animation is...ok. It reminds me of the Nickeldeon series, Jimmy Neutron, for some reason. I have nothing against Jimmy Neutron, but I wish the art reminded me more of the orginal Peter Pan movie. ._.

No I don't watch ABC as much as ABCfamily. But I don't need to see it. I already know Tink with a voice is a horrible idea, and I am not surprised that it sounded horrible its Brittney Murphy. I am not fond of her.

Brittany Murphy is no longer providing the voice of Tinker Bell. I don't remember who is though.
It's going to be very interesting to see the impact of this project. Because it's Tink, this will likely make huge amounts of money, but it will be interesting to see what effect, if any, the negative backlash will have.
There are going to be some people who will hate this film(and there's nothing wrong with that) because it's a departure from what we've seen of Tink in Peter Pan. I'm curious to see if that will impact the project, especially if the film is as bad as some fear.

Oh really? Well still, I am not a fan of Tink talking. That's like making her a different character.
