Hm, that's a hard choice but I'll have to say "Hellfire" and "God Help the Outcasts" from HoND, "One Jump" from Aladdin and "No Way Out" from Brother Bear.

Backpacking across Greece and seeing all of the amazing wonders of architecture and history there. The men aren't too bad either (; I've been smitten with Greece since we did a unit on it in fifth grade social studies. I plan on spending half a year there (five months working, each in a different city, and one month traveling) and half a year in Spain (same as before) before I join the workforce. [/blockquote]

First of all I wanted to apologize about what happened in the "Academy Awards" thread. I never meant to single you out or insult you. We just view films differently. We agree to disagree when it comes to "Slumdog". I hope we're good. Anyway- What were your top ten favorite films this year?

*shrug* I didn't think of it as insult, I thought of it as two people arguing about their opinions. Arguing = Good for your health.
Top ten... Hm...
10. 27 Dresses 9. Saw V 8. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 7. Untraceable 6. Wall - E 5. The Dark Knight 4. Get Smart 3. Religulous 2. Tropic Thunder 1. Seven Pounds
Ones that didn't make the cut, but were close: Death Race, Doubt, Frost/Nixon, Mamma Mia!, Deception, Made of Honour, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

That's quite a range of films! But I have to say I'm surprised to see "Seven Pounds" on your list at all, let alone number one! What was it about that film that you were so captivated by?

Seven Pounds, to me was the definition of a great film. It offered you a hook at the beginning which kept you sitting right on the edge of your seat, it asked more questions than it answered for the beginning, leading you to hold a big question mark over your head - Then at about halfway through, if you have a brain, you can figure out what it going on, and what is going to happen... But the end isn't what matters anymore, its the how. The means are more important than the end, so one is still glued to the edge of the seat to see what the main character (who you can't really like, but at the same time you can't really hate... And you can't be indifferent either) will do next. Then the last half hour is the 'ending' and pretty much the entire theater is sobbing (including my friend, who has never cried at a movie before) and it's not just because it's sad, it's also because it's kind of happy. To me, it was the best movie that I've seen since The Prestige (which I thought was quite incredible). [/blockquote]

Fascinating! I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard very mixed reviews about it.
Do you think Will Smith was robbed an Oscar nominaion?

No. It was a great movie but I think that Smith should not have gotten a nomination for that particular performance. I think Rosario Dawson should have perhaps gotten a nod for Best Supporting Actress and that Woody Harrelson also deserved a nod. The only person who I think was certainly robbed of an Oscar was Grant Nieporte for his amazing screenplay.
